Transcript for "Streamline Healthcare Provider Pay with Workday and Accenture": Hello, everybody. We will be starting shortly here. Thank you everybody for joining. We have a lot of folks joining today, so I'll give them a moment to to trickle in here. Let me just give them about one minute here. K. I see people are are making their way in. I'm gonna share my screen here. Alright. People tricking in. Today today, we're gonna focus, really on an important topic for health care providers, and that's how to turn your static agreements with physicians into actionable data that you can use in downstream health care financial systems for more accurate and efficient financial pay, provider pay. Pardon me. Few quick housekeeping notes before we begin. So first, this session is being recorded. Secondly, we feel free to drop questions in the q and a throughout the session. So you'll see in the side panel, there's a q and a. This will be recorded. So, again, you know, you will be able to to get answers to these questions. If if we don't answer them, we'll we'll follow-up with you. But please put your questions in the q and a. We'll try to answer them throughout the webinar, and we'll also save some time at the end of the webinar as well. So Workday product statement. Finally, just note that any yet unreleased features are subject to change, and I'll kick off with some introductions. So I'm Steve. I'm a former lawyer who unfortunately had no access to the contract intelligence technology that's a key component of the provider pay solution that we're gonna be talking about today. I'm on Workday's product marketing team, and today, I'm gonna share a bit more about the value contract intelligence brings to health care providers. And I'm joined by three enterprise health care solutioning veterans at Accenture. That is Teo, Clementina, and Kyle. And I'll pass to Clementina for for a quick introduction. Hey everyone, welcome and thanks for joining. I'm Clementina and I'm in the functional space and I work very closely with healthcare clients in this space. Very excited to be talking about the provider pay solution. And I'm gonna be supporting with q and a. So if you had any questions, I'll be monitoring, the q and a chat here and be seeding through some questions that are worth some more, some more reflection with the group here. So very excited. I'll now hand over to Kyle for his intro. Good morning. Good afternoon. Kyle Andrews. I'm of our extension New York practice, and I lead our overall Workday CLM capability here at Azure. I'll be talking with Steve Moore and the rest of the group here on how CLM can help with physician contract management and other capabilities as well. And I pass this over to Tayo now for his introduction. Thanks, Kyle. Welcome, everyone. We're looking forward to a a great discussion today. Teo D'Alessandro based in Dallas. I am with Accenture, as, as everyone knows, but I am our HCM health care capability lead, which is a long phrase for basically a run sales delivery innovation within our Workday health care practice here at Accenture. So we are extremely excited to have you all, here today and talk through our provider pay solution. We did present this as part of the health care summit last year at Rising, so we've had some tremendous momentum since. And we'd love to kinda share an update of of how all these different SKUs come together and provide a really unique and helpful solution as it comes to physician and provider pay within Workday. Back to you, Steve. Excellent. Thank you so much. Quite the dream team, and it's it's really a pleasure to to work with y'all. Had a a great time getting to know you and, got a lot of great things, this Accenture team to offer, in terms of this solution and and things moving forward on the provider front. So share a little bit more about that today. Realizing my screen is not in slideshow mode, so hopefully, I can see a little bit better here. One thing that I wanna cover today is, you know, we're gonna we're gonna go deep into the Accenture provider pay solution that that the team has created. So today's chat is gonna look a little bit like this. Teo is gonna walk through that solution and give us a deep dive and help us understand how it dials in provider pay workflows. But before he does that, Kyle and I are gonna have a discussion about how health care providers are going to and and other teams are are finding value in the core Workday offerings that really power this provider pay solution that is Workday CLM and Workday Contract Intelligence. So before that, I'll start us out with a high level overview of those solutions. Now in 2024, just for a little background, Workday acquired the team that I was on, a leader in the world of contract life cycle management, CLM, and contract intelligence, that company was Eversort. So Eversort is really for anyone within a health care organization that could benefit from knowing exactly what's in their contracts. If you think about it, who is that? Literally everyone. So contracts are the lifeblood of an organization, and every relationship, whether it's with a physician or supplier or a payer, it starts within the four corners of a contract. But CLM solutions in our space, they've traditionally treated contracts like documents to be managed from drafting through signature, and they are that. They're documents to be managed, but they're also a lot more than that. We like to say they're like tiny little jails that trap all of the data an organization needs to make informed high impact decisions, and it's our job to break that data free. That data is often siloed, so contracts are buried in a shared drive. There may be only Mike and procurement knows how to navigate, and contract drafts and and versions live in someone's Gmail inbox somewhere. Even once you get your hands on that contract that you need and the version that you need, you likely have to rely on the legal team to slog through it to surface the important terms that you need or, like, get high level visibility on what's going on across those contracts. For example, if I'm a health care provider managing a large workforce of physicians across sites and regions, I need quick and accurate access to the terms of those physicians' compensation so I can make sure that they're paid timely, accurately, and in compliance with internal policies and the many regulations governing physician compensation. These kind of pains really apply to departments and use cases across hospital systems. That's a theme that we'll touch upon because we've got folks in the audience I see from HR roles, from compliance roles, from finance roles. It's important to understand that that this type of solution really can help teams across your organization. That's what we do. We bridge the gaps between those teams and make things more efficient organizationally. And and that's really what Workday's contract AI helps with. It keeps your contracts moving from drafting through negotiation, approval, signature, but most critically, it tells you everything you need to know about what's in your contracts. Now let's talk a little bit about how the tech works and and the components of it. So our contract intelligence solution, these boxes on the left, they can connect to wherever you keep your contracts today. That SharePoint, Box, Dropbox, or Workday, maybe even another ERP system. Teo's gonna touch upon that more from where we can draw from to to get this good information to connect with other systems. It's gonna ingest your contracts up to 450,000 per day and turn them into structured data that you can search and report on so you can know fully everything about your contracts and related documents like invoices, POs, statements of work, and and that's Workday Contract Intelligence. Now right hand side here, this accelerate component, this is our contract life cycle management solution, CLM. So that brings order to your contract workflows before they're signed, keeping your contracts moving from drafting through negotiation, approvals, signature, and storage. And with workflow efficiency features, like, you've got automated redlining for those consistent edits, AI assisted clause creation, AI playbook based reviews of your contracts, you can move contracts to signature faster than ever. We're not gonna focus on that component today. The CLM workflow piece, understand it exists, but it's really the extraction piece and getting that good information from your contracts that this is all about and and is a a component, a big component of the provider pay solution along with your other Workday ecosystem products that that Tayo will dive into today. So wanna touch upon the value of this real quick, and then we'll dive right into the the core of today's topic. What's the value of contract intelligence? It's threefold. With WorkDesk Contract AI, you can surface risk. Let's look at that in terms of physician employment agreements. Right? There's a lot of risk to be managed. The risk of underpayment, the risk of overpayment, the risk of untimely payment, the risk of paying for services out of scope of the physician's contracts, The the risk of literally, you know, paying positions that are no longer under contract. The risk of running afoul of Stark law and anti kickback rules. All of these risks can be tremendously mitigated by simply getting clear visibility into your contracts. Number two, spot opportunities. So let's look at those other teams again. Getting ahead of myself here. For example, if you're a procurement team, you can easily surface hidden discounts or renewal price locks in your supplier contracts or warranties that are buried and you'd otherwise be paying the supplier for a change order. And finally, you can track obligations. So we'll talk about this a little bit, but let's say you're a university medical center and you've got material transfer agreements that say you need to return or destroy or retain materials once you're done with the research. You need to be able to easily track that kind of obligation, visualize it in dashboards, and report out on it to understand what's going on with your business and what your obligations are and what others' obligations are to you. When we say there's value in this for every team, that's what we mean. So now I wanna talk a little bit about, Kyle, like, how this impacts health care providers. And you've got rich experience in this. You've got rich experience in CLM and contract intelligence in general. So I guess we could start there. Help me understand what you and your team do for organizations for CLM and contract intelligence. Hannah, thank you, Steve. It's a lot touching on what you already brought up earlier. As when we're going into these deployments and helping these clients find their contract solution with Eversort, is today a lot of times it is a separate teams. The contracts are on a network drive somewhere. It's a sign and forget kinda operation of bringing in CI and stuff for unlock that value. And some of the way we're helping with that is helping and create dashboards, custom AI models, where we train the AI on their contracts to pick out key information that there's highly referenceable and needed in coupling that with alerts to make sure that they're hitting their regulatory requirements. They're getting notified when they need to, filing all their forms that they need to as well. So they bring that insight and value that they might have not forgotten or are tracking today on, like, an Excel manually, but getting that automation and key insights that they were missing in the past. Excellent. Excellent. So and and, you know, we talked a little bit earlier about some of the value teams find, like, really early on from contract intelligence. Can can you expand on that a little bit for for the folks on the call? Yeah. What's really great with this solution is with those all those connections that are already built in with your Box, Google Drive, it setup is a breeze. We can get live on this product in only a few months and actually get that value immediately. It doesn't have to wait for a full ERP deployment. You can go stand alone with Aviso first at the start and then wait until you're ready for that ERP to connect or be already live on and then looping into it. It really helps that cross platform. So even outside of just, those physician contracts provider agreements, your procurement team will find value with it, being able to see that pricing from signature to execution and see how well they were able to manage their costs. Legal and compliance too are able to get all the reporting that they need to. So it really provides that whole contracting solution across the organization. Absolutely. Yeah. That's an important point and the one that we talk internally a lot because especially with health care organizations. You've got teams that are looking at ERP solutions, looking at longer term solutions on a one, two year horizon, you know, and and they're busy building those out. But what are we gonna do now for, a, for instant ROI? Right? Like, we we need to show the value of these solutions that we're implementing instantly. Like, so quickly we can implement this product and and especially the contract intelligence solution. Another big component to that is the or, actually, let me go back to that. I I it's an interesting story about Workday. And, you know, I I was at Aviso when I was a baby startup. Workday was one of our favorite customers. We worked with the Workday legal team. We worked with the Workday procurement team. And the Workday legal team, they were able to obtain 3535100% ROI within a year of their purchase of the contract intelligence solution. Now now that's that is a pretty incredible annualized number, but but it really speaks to the fact that, you know, this is something that you can get immediate value from. And, frankly, it's half the reason why Eversort was was acquired. We we were a wonderful vendor, really providing value to Workday. Well, in both the the legal and and the procurement context, obviously, those are all expanding now within Workday. Wanna touch on another point, though, is, like, establishing good data for those projects that you're working on, a foundation of good data. Right? So you're looking at an ERP down the road, and and we'll talk a ton about this. This is really important in the context of of these provider pay agreements specifically. But, you know, you're you're looking at an ERP down the road. You're you're looking at these things. You need to have that data from your contracts, which contain the key to every business relationship for those downstream systems. Finance, procurement, HR, all of them rely on good, reliable data. So if can get that in right away within sixty, ninety days and and get that data unlocked for you, you are really paving the way for a pretty incredible broader implementation. I think Steve just add on that too, and we're like and what's also great about it is, like, being able to have those custom AI models to pick up on the data that's needed for your organization. And we've also seen ability to leverage the APIs and capabilities that Aviso already has to connect to, like, a Power BI for reporting dashboards for state requirements and other subsystems to their needs. It really helps with that upstream and downstream even early on the process outside of the ERP. Yeah. For for the uninitiated, a a lot of folks here, I'm I'm sure you haven't heard much about contract intelligence or what this all means. Like, what what is a custom model, Kyle? And what does that do for different teams? Yeah. It really helps expand out, like, your metadata that you're capturing of a contract. A lot of times, you'll have that standard data, you know, your contract name, some of the parties that are aligned to it. But a contract's more than just those key regular metadata features. There's also all your provisions in it, your clauses, as well as key datas around as we'll show the provider pay, like salary and pay incentives. So what a great piece of Avasort is it really is that AI native tool, and we're able to lean into the custom AI models where we can take a sampling of the contracts that the client already has, run it through the AI to identify the data that we wanna pull out, then automatically automate and pull up that metadata that then can be used for those dashboards, for those alerts, for those compliance needs that are needed, and really provide that feature on that data that maybe someone in the past would have to look up, find manually control f on that document to find it. But today, the AI automatically services for them, and they're able to find it with ease. A 100%. Yeah. I I think about this in terms of, you know, large large health care provider systems, like but, you know, obviously, teams across the organization need to be able to track certain data points that you know, they're not gonna be standard data points. They're gonna be unique to your health care system. And so the ability to create a AI model in, you know, minutes that will track information relevant to you, maybe, you know, you're talking about in this context, like, I need to track which physicians are in which particular subregion of, you know, this particular state. I need to have a field that tracks that in perpetuity. I can create that field right away as and what I love about this, like I said, I I was a lawyer in my past life. I was a local government lawyer, not decidedly not good with technology, and I can create these models in a few minutes. Like, they're they're made for a dummy like me. So it is very, very impactful to have that sort of power behind you know? And, obviously, there are more complex models that you can build out to track deep complexities within within your agreements, but it's quite a powerful system. So and I also I also wanna touch on, Kyle, like, in terms of as we're talking about health care providers specifically, what kind of teams are are you working with? Yeah. It we really will work with different stakeholders requiring the contracts, but usually, like, when the when it comes to these provider agreements fairly close with those compensation and compliance teams to make sure we're capturing the data that we truly need and making sure that when we look at the whole provider pay solution here, is be able to go downstream and make sure we can get that payout for those employees in our via, like, Workday and that ERP. So it's really those team members that are closed and ones that might be managing the contracts today, but don't get those details or find those pieces that they, in the past, have needed on a regular basis. Excellent. And is this in any kind of health care organization? I mean, it can can you know, what are what are the types of organizations that you're working with? Yeah. We've seen a broad, broad variety. We've seen both public, academic medical centers, that are highly highly, compliant regulatory environment as well as private health care providers too. So it really provides that flexibility and even taking a step out of just provider pay too, helping these organizations identify grant details, revenue agreements, student transfer agreements. All those types of details gonna help capture. So even outside this provider pay does provide that full insight. And for the first time, for a lot of them, have one centralized system with all these different teams now, able to be able to see the data and make sure they're making the most informed decisions. Absolutely. Yeah. I here at Workday, we see a lot of traction with these academic medical centers because they're they are you know, this is the exact most relevant customer that we have is is highly regulated on the education side, highly regulated on the health care side. You know, as you might imagine, like, being a highly regulated institution, knowing what's in your contracts is of the utmost important. Because you got things like the stark and anti kickback. You know? You've got on the academic medical center side, I hear from folks like, these these grant agreements need to be reviewed all the time doing because of changes in the you know, in national politics and national mandates, things like that. Like, the these are constantly in flux. And so really, really interesting use case that academic medical centers have across the organization. See a lot of that. I speaking of use cases, like, what other broad use cases? So we've got the physician employment agreements that we're gonna dive deep into in a moment here with Teo just to get a sense, like, what other use cases are hospital systems and health care providers excited about that you're seeing? We're seeing a lot of excitement on the supply chain management side too. So for the first time being able to use and with that kind of integration between Eversort, work district sourcing, and Workday procurement, really seeing that end to end flow. So being for the first time to be able to go see the sourcing product, see how they decide on who to provide or source goods for, going through that contracting, and then seeing how they're pricing against and how they're invoicing against their contracts. So we're seeing a lot of movement on that procurement supply chain side because it's the first thing they can see full cycle and make sure everyone is involved at the key touch points when needed. And we're also seeing it with a lot of just, like, general, like, student movement agreement. So making sure that, like, for an academic medical center, if there's internships or students going to other universities to spend some time, the agreements and regulations around making sure those are staying current. And then separately, also, the revenue side. So that grant management is huge. A lot of times, our clients, the health care side and even other nonprofits haven't really had a way to manage their grants in a an easy easy way in this and Aviso brings that intelligence all into one place and then really stay on top of those grant agreements as they need. That's awesome. Yeah. You know, Kyle, I I really appreciate, and I think our customers appreciate having someone who's so close to this. And I I know you're exclusively working with CLM. You see what's happening within these health care systems. You see what the needs are and the evolving needs are and the trends are, and and having those types of insights are invaluable. So I I really appreciate that, you know, these insights and and working with you in general partnering on this. And I we're getting some questions in the chat that touch upon the provider pay solution. So we've got a lot of great things we can do across the organization, but I think a lot of y'all came for this provider pay solution and to see exactly what we can do for providers. So to that end, I'm gonna pass to Teo who can share a little bit more about the Accenture provider pay solution and what they've been hard at work building. Yeah. Thanks, Steve. And, again, welcome, everyone, as we talk a little bit more about physician and provider pay and a solution that we've come up with here at Accenture, to really automate and, we think, make make lives easier, as it comes to provider pay, which historically been a very complex, a very manual process. I don't have the luxury of seeing everyone on on the call and, like, who who is you know, from where. So I'm gonna start with, like, a very brief definition of of provider pay and WRVUs or RVUs as they might might be, you know, kind of referred to. You know, potentially, those on the call have a relatively straightforward compensation package. You have a base pay. You have a bonus maybe based off of your performance. You might have a stock if you're a public company. But that's you know? And then maybe get, you know, some cash bonuses outside of that relatively straightforward. As it comes to the health care space, that is not the case. The bonuses and the the compensation scale is very much based off of, you know, what you're working, the types of activities that you're doing, multipliers against that, tiered and scheduled attributes that all impact what someone, a physician as an example, makes at the end of the day. That, of course, is not only complex but very hard to track, very hard to figure out and audit what's going on, who's on track for their contract. And that's really the genesis. And this is not a new concept, right? As I said, this has been a continuously painful and sometimes highly manual activity that health care organizations have gone through. But, you know, we we kind of sat down with a couple of our health care clients and really put pen to paper on how exactly can we make this better, how exactly can we leverage the suite of Workday to really automate this and drive drive a path forward that's sustainable and, you know, gives people, you know, time back in the day, less auditing, and really, you know, streamlines the payroll side of the house, which is is really, you know, what we think we put together here and what we'll what we'll go through. I mentioned already from a challenges perspective, they're they're highly complex, RVUs. They're always in their physician contracts. And so Steve and Kyle just went through CLM as a a paramount and foundational part of this solution. The contracts have the information that we need when it comes to either static RVUs, tiered RVUs, escalators, expectations of productivity. All of those items are almost always in the contracts. And so being able to hook up those contracts with CLM and then pull out those, pertinent data pieces and put them into Workday is a is a is a key aspect of this and kinda how we approach the first the first problem statement of what RVUs are. From a timekeeping and EMR perspective, as I think many of you know, especially those who are on the phone who are health care and or large retail where you may not be fully using Workday time, to capture everything, That's also quite prevalent in health care. Right? So EMR and time can be data may not be within Workday. So we've leveraged and built a suite of custom and and very complex integrations to make sure that we're connecting, warehouses and and that type of time data from outside of Workday, pulling it in, and then leveraging it within Prism tables, to become a usable kind of element to combine with what we're pulling out from the contract. So, really, the ability to have both the contract information from a comp perspective, from a productivity perspective, and then also timekeeping and EMR data to really see what are they doing productivity against what they're expected to be doing and what they're expected to make. And then historically, as I mentioned, this has been a manual process to pay out RVUs and and provider pay many times. We have created, in leveraging extend and some custom solutions, a business process that allows organizations to go through their approvals, their different steps as it comes to provider pay, make sure that the numbers are correct. And then with a press of a button, you know, submit, the background is automating the payroll, and it's being able to pay that out to to the end user, which is incredible to not have to do pay input files, which I know everyone loves doing on the phone. That is not the case here. And then finally, what I call the wrapper of the solution is really making sure that there's updated analytics and reporting. It's awesome to see, you know, what's going on in real time, and that's a really important aspect. Think of the office of the CFO, which I'll show a bit of a persona on, or as well a physician itself. I wanna know what I'm gonna make this year. Right? Like, I wanna be able to track my productivity. I wanna be able to track, how I'm trending month over month, quarter over quarter. And that's something that we put together, a Sweden package of reports and analytics for a couple of different personas. So all in all, a very, we think, robust, complex solution, but pulling out the chaotic, the hypermanual, the pain that probably many of you go through as you think about having to calculate these on a quarterly or biannual basis like you might doing might be doing right now. That's a bit about the background. I mentioned at the beginning I did, talk about this as part of the health care summit for those who attended. So we've we've made some really great strides, and we're excited to kinda keep going and talk about that more today. So those are some of the challenges and how we've attacked the solution. Steve, if don't mind going to the next slide, what I'll show here is just a little bit more around the architecture. I've kind of alluded to it. I've talked about it, but, you know, this is a solution on a page that might help you all, whether you're deep into the weeds on Workday as a HRIS analyst or or leader or maybe more on the legal side or on the procurement side. You know, how does this all fit together? We hope this is a little bit helpful before I go into the demo. I mentioned the provider pay contracts. CLM is fundamental to what we are doing here, being able to pull out those details like I mentioned, EMR and timekeeping data. Both of those elements are getting dropped into Workday HCM, Whether it's in Prism or custom objects, all of those will end up living on the Workday HCM side. I mentioned the Prism tables are highly usable. I think there was a question in the chat on being able to be linked to different data warehouses. Absolutely. It can. Prism that's the key the key piece about Prism, right, being able to attach it to data warehouses, whether on a on a automatic feed or potentially on a a dumping of data feed. Both of those are are part of the solution itself. Extend business process, and custom solutions to go through the approvals. So very dependent on, you know, the organization about how many approvals provider pay requires. Some are quite intense. And based off of the organization they're a part of, maybe their specialty within within the hospital, dollar amount as well as another key variable that we've seen across multiple clients. And then the payroll aspect I mentioned, you know, automating the payroll, whether it's accounts payable, whether you're a full platform client or you're just HCM, both of which are addressed with this solution, which we're super excited about to have automation for both our HCM only and full platform clients. And then finally, I mentioned the analytics and the dashboard piece as the wrapper, to what we think is a very robust solution. So that was a bit of the background, how we got here, what we're putting together. Before I jump into the, into the demo, I just wanna again reiterate the so what. The so what is this is highly manual. It's complex. We built this under an umbrella of Workday SKUs and suites that we think really brings this as a as a all in all in one, one stop shop. From a SKU perspective, this requires at least HCM, potentially full platform if you're if you're off of a finance client. It requires Xtend, Prism, and CLM. So those are the things that you're mentioning or things you might be thinking about as we go through this. If, you know, you don't have all of those or you do, that's what we're leveraging as part of this, current custom solution. K. I am going to try my luck with GoldCast here and share my screen and hopefully hopefully not not share something I shouldn't share. So let's give this a go here. It's loading, which is good. And there it is. Okay. Thumbs up from Steve. Kyle, you guys can see this okay? Wonderful. I'm gonna save everyone the lovely background music that this has, and you have to listen to my voice for the next seven or eight minutes. So everyone just bear with me as I talk through what what are we looking at here as it comes to provider pay. And before I even start, what I'll mention here, everything that you are going to see, this is built. This is not a collection of slides or something like that. We have built all of this in our innovation tenant here at Accenture, which we're obviously, know, extremely proud and and super excited about. So these are all built from architecture. And what you saw on the previous slide is something that is living and breathing right now, which, like I said, we are extremely excited about. All right. Let's jump into it. So as I said, no no fun background music. We're gonna start here first on the CLM side, which, as Steve and Collier mentioned, CLM is the bouncing point or the springboard for this solution. We wanna be able to ingest and take in the contracts. We wanna be able to leverage our both Workday and Accenture custom AI models to be able to pull out the data that's necessary and make sure that we have that relevant and thrown into Workday HCM. The key pieces that you might be thinking about or that we thought about were, course, what are the RVUs? What are their what are their variable rates? Any types of productivity, requirements that they might have? What is the, kinda cadence of those as well? All of those were the key pieces, the initial key pieces. I'm sure there will be more that we will continue to grow on, that we wanted to pull out as part of our initial build here. So what you're seeing here right now is we're highlighting within this contract that we've loaded up, there is an RVU section. So I'll quickly just pause on this. It's listing that this person's, you know, RVU rate is 71. They have a, you know, excessive of forty two two four for the annual. You know, that's the basic piece that we might be needing is the rate. You know, what's their what's their threshold and target that we're aiming to achieve? And then being able to quickly sort on that. So, again, great plug for CLM. This is an awesome way to just be able to quickly sift and search through a contract. You can leverage the prompts. You can leverage AI to to pull out exactly what you need. And then we went the extra the extra mile, right, to be able to pull it out not only from this page here, but also drop it into work.hcm to become relevant for the provider pay solution. So you also, I mentioned it's, like, there's different cadences that RVUs are paid just depending on what we see in the health care space. Some pay monthly, some pay on a quarterly, some pay biannual, and some even pay pay yearly. And so we've been able to kind of create a special, filter and model as part of, what we do with the CLM side to not only, you know, pull out the attributes but also multiply it against the expected, payouts and timeline for, you know, any relevant calculations that we would do on the Workday extend or on the Workday finance side or payroll side. So that was firstly the CLMP. So just, again, at that point, we pulled out the RVUs. We pulled out their productivity targets, and we have put them into Workday HCM. The next persona that we're looking at here is Yara, who's a financial analyst. And when we think about her persona, her persona is I'm overseeing a crew of physicians that all have provider pay or all have WRBUs and targets, and I need to be able to review the productivity as well as make sure that we're gonna be submitting them for their payment. So not the final approval, but I'm basically looking at what's come in, from their productivity, validating, and then saying, here's the expected amount. We wanna proceed forward with the process to get them approved and ultimately paid out. I will pause it here for one second. Sorry. This is a really exciting feature that we've built into here. Provider contracts change. I'm sure that's not a new idea for those on the phone. They get renegotiated. They get updated. We wanted to make sure that what's getting get pulled in from CLM is not static but is always up to date and accurate data. Of course, we don't wanna be paying someone out the wrong RVUs or have the wrong productivity measures. So we've built something that, you know, automatically goes back in, checks the latest contract that's in CLM, pulls in the updated RVUs and puts that onto their profile. So a really nice feature, especially given the consistency that we've seen with contracts changing in the health care space. So as I mentioned, we're looking right now as a financial analyst. They're going in and looking at an individual physician, what they've completed from their RVUs, what their balance is, what, you know, their projected payment is, all in one place to make sure, you know, we're good to go and start to submit them for their payments. This completed RVUs here, again, comes from our Prism table. So we pulled in from your EMR timekeeping data how much productivity, what they've been up to, and and that gets dropped here within the the custom the custom framework. You can update it manually as well if there was a negotiation that changed it. We've had some clients say that this is not really what we normally see. Usually, the the the threshold does not change, but we want to still, at least as a starting point, provide a level of flexibility pending thresholds are allowed to be changed at certain provider or for certain hospital chains. So at this point here, we've got, again, negotiated. We've got completed. You can see at the bottom that their total RVUs for period is 93, and the expected payment around is around $6,600, and the payment has now been initiated. At this point, we're fully leveraging Workday Extend to run through a, as complex as you would like approval process. I say that with given some of the the crazy approval processes that Kyle, Clementine, and I have looked at, with across the health care space. I'd say some range from over eight different levels of approval, so it's it's a real fun time. But all that to say, Xtend is here being leveraged to run through different thresholds, eligibility criteria. What exactly does this individual need to get approved on? So we're in right now as a director of physician compensation. They are looking at the inbox that was just kicked off by Yara and reviewing here, okay, for this specific quarter in this case, the individual had these negotiated. They had these completed. Their balance is 93, and the expected payment that we have for them is, again, dollars 6,600. So this is just an example of one of the approvals that could be fired to a specific individual to make sure that they feel like you know, we're all good here, and we're ready to pay out, this amount of money for, this position. So at this point, when I press approve, this is the, you know, one of the key key moments of this solution. There is no extra step beyond this to go into payroll now and start to do things and manually calculate it. That is the beauty one of the beauties of this solution. The approval means that this is approved to be paid. It will either get fed into Workday payroll or accounts payable, potentially, if you're a Workday finance client and and paid out on schedule. So really exciting, kind of aspect again to this that I'll keep on repeating until I'm blue in the face. The manual pay inputs is awful. Manually having to calculate some of these very complex RVU calculations is never fun. But being able to leverage Workday here, leverage the business process, approve it, and then let it get paid out is the is the ultimate goal. K. That is the solution from a, like, a hardcore functionality perspective. The last two personas that I'll show here are on the reporting and analytics side. So I mentioned the office of the CFO. RVUs are large amounts of money in many cases. And as an office of a c you know, CFO, across the board, I I wanna probably know what's going on and what's my spend as it comes to comes to this type of work. So we built a starter kit or a a baseline foundation of different analytics and dashboards for this type of persona. So we're going in now as Hayes, who's the CFO, to take a look at, production, collections, on call, directorship, different types of attributes and reporting about how how is this really working across the organization. So you can see some examples here all pulling in, you know, amounts, how are they trending towards their productivity targets. I can see it and splice it by job profile. So if you've got certain physicians and certain, different job profiles, see how they're trending across the organization, which is, is a really exciting, I think, attribute to be able to be looking at. The last persona that we're looking at here is a physician itself. And so, again, as a as a physician, I would wanna know. I'm not a physician. I get to be a Workday consultant, which is fun. But if I was and we're talking about, you know, these amounts of money and productivity, wanna I know how I'm trending. So we've also also built a starter kit, of reports and analytics for the physician itself to be able to track their own productivity, their own payments, how are they tracking, year over year as it comes to RVUs. So I think really exciting to also put this in here, not just focus on, the office of the CFO or kind of, capability leadership, but also the physicians itself. So that was my spiel. I mentioned we're we're extremely excited about this. It's been a a quick run actually to kinda get this up and running, and we're we're really excited about the momentum that we've had from the health care summit last year. And, you know, we like I said, we think this is a scalable, while complex and leverages multiple SKUs. It pulls everything under that Workday umbrella. And that's a huge win when it comes to, where this traditionally has been done, which is either point solutions, that cost a boatload of money. Some of those folks on the phone may have looked at those. Nonworkday solutions that are are very ridiculously priced. Or you're doing a manual and you're dedicating people to it, and there's a, you know, a level of mistakes sometimes as well as just a high level of hours and effort that goes into it. So that is, that is our provider based solution. Team, do we have any questions that haven't been answered yet? I know we're running pretty pretty good on time, so we are happy to, answer some questions as well. Absolutely, Teo. Thank you so much. This has this has been great, and and we've got a lot of questions that have come in. We've been answering them as we go. But as Teo mentioned, like, keep them coming. We we have time set aside for this. One question that we had was around time tracking, things like that. So are we pulling in things like EMR, timekeeping data, things like that? Yeah. So that's part of our kind of custom solution as well as the integration feeds and the packaging that would pull timekeeping and EMR data from a third party system, into Workday Prism tables and then be able to leverage that against their RVU targets. But that's a key piece. Right? The the t the two main variables in this solution are, you know, what are my RVUs? Like, what's my variable comp, whether it's tiered or flat? And then what is my productivity target, both what am I actually producing as well as what is my target of productivity for that period of time. If there are health care clients out there that are leveraging timekeeping within Workday, of course, that's gonna be naturally accessible. EMR data, though, almost always is is gonna be kept out, which is why we've built the bridge to make sure that that data gets into into Workday and is usable for our solution. Excellent. And that's that's a it's a key theme across Workday's, you know, contract intelligence solution in particular is the ability to draw from from extra sources. One question we had, this is just, you know, as a follow-up question to this webinar, are there white papers available for review? Absolutely. We have a we have a data sheet that we'll share afterwards, that will cover a lot of what we spoke with today. And we'll also put up a link, that you can use to reach out directly to this team or or the Workday team, and and talk more about that. Kyle and Clementina, have you seen any other interesting questions as we look at this some of the ones flowing in? Yeah. There's been a lot of great questions. I think we can go to one around analytics being available on the mobile. With this solution, is there anything available around analytics on the mobile? The reporting and dashboards are available. There are some limitations as the team may know about as it comes to extend and prism sometimes, whereas it renders on a mobile phone. So, again, more of, a case by case basis, but, at least the approvals would be would be mobile, which is exciting, right, if you're going through as a, you know, director of physician comp and I need to approve this payment for Clementina, being able to do that, not just at my at my computer. Excellent. Listen. I I know we're getting a lot of questions. One thing is, is this available today? You know? And and what does it look like if if we're interested in in getting a solution like this or looking into a solution like this? Yeah. So right now, this is not a marketplace item, just due to the different types of attributes and SKUs that this is built off of. So it's what we're doing is we're basically pooling the interest and going through it and discussing with those, you know, interested parties what this would look like. I I think those in health care would agree, I hope, but this stuff is not straightforward. And so we view these as basically mini projects to put together the use case. Also, what we've shown here today, of course, is a baseline. Right? Again, it is a built, fully working kind of solution itself, but almost all health care clients that Kyle, Clementine, and I have talked to, they do their RVUs a little bit differently, a little bit here, a little bit there, which would be part of, of course, our our discovery sessions and then, adjust what we've built so far, to be to be meeting those requirements. So, not a one size fits all as it comes to our views. Excellent. What else what else have you seen come through, Clementina? Yeah. There's one around provide different rates of pay for different ministries, just whether or not we've answered the question that we that this solution can handle variable configuration for compensation. Sorry. Can you repeat that one? You cut out there for a moment for me, Clementine. Yeah. Sorry. Just whether or not the solution can accommodate multiple configuration in the same tenant. Yes. Yes. Yeah. It was a popular one. We had that that question come in a few times. So this is, broadly speaking, highly configurable, and and something and that's a lot of these questions. Like, is it highly configurable, and does it adapt as. as we go? So, let. me answer. And, again, going back to my comment, like, this is not a one size fits all, but we're not also trying to reinvent the wheel here. Like, we think we've got a really strong foundation. We would just wanna have a conversation about how maybe your specific organization does things a little bit differently, but, we're living in a very agile, you know, kind of ever moving and changing world, especially as it comes to some of these newer SKUs and the the problem, you know, challenges and what we can leverage Workday for. So we're, of course, you know, dedicated to to figure out unique ways and not make this, painful from a discovery process either. Excellent. Excellent. And we There's another a oh, yeah. sorry, Steve. There's another good one here that I think is worth calling out. So whether or there's an approval process or a sign off process just to make sure that the AI has correctly interpreted the contract. Yeah. I can help I can help answer that piece. So as part of the point, we do validation checks to make sure the AI is be as accurate as possible. And the piece that we do also do not talk too much today, we also have the option of extending this up that change, that contract life cycle management piece of the product where we're able to make sure and we can actually do some coding in the back, hard coding so the data is always correct in the in the contract intelligence piece once it's formalized too, and there's approvals there. So there's definitely ways that we can have have those checks as and as Teo showed in the video, There's always those BPs as well before payment actually goes out the door to validate that the AI pulled up the correct values. And I think I answered the last one that I'm seeing from Jingna, but just to triple confirm, right? This is a solution that can not only look at the one type of RVU we talked about, but multiple different types, that have different types of layers of RVUs. The calculation might be different. They might be, you know, shown differently in the contract as well. That is a flexible part of this. It's really we have the data, then we can then we can work it from an extraction and from a calculation perspective. If you take away one thing broadly on on the contract intelligence side is that it is highly flexible to your organization's underlying needs. And and so if your organization operates slightly differently than another health care provider does, that's okay because it's it's highly configurable in that respect. I'm gonna share real quick. We have a place you can go. So we're getting a lot of questions that the tune of, you know, this is very interesting. Like, what next? And so you can contact anyone on this call. We've got contact information for Clementina, Kyle, Teo, and myself. If you wanna learn more, this QR code will help you to register your interest directly with Accenture, or you can reach out to your Workday account team directly, and and we're happy to field questions. I think we have fielded most of the questions, if if not all the questions in in the q and a. If we did not get to your question today, I really encourage you please reach out directly to us. We're happy to chat. And, you know, this this QR code again will connect you directly with the Accenture team, or all of us individually are happy to speak to our our respective, you know, skill sets. So workday questions, feel free to direct them to me. Accenture questions, feel free to direct them to the Accenture team. I wanna thank you all so much, Clementina, Kyle, Teo, for for this really great presentation, and and I think there's a lot of interest in the health care space. I'm particularly interested in in seeing how this solution grows and how other related solutions in the health care space grows. And and spoiler alert, there's a lot coming in in the world of health care and, you know, how contract intelligence integrated within the Workday ecosystem is is planning to expand in the near future. Before we wrap, Kyle, Teo, Clementino, was there anything that that you wanted to share, before we head into the near weekend? I think just reiterating, you know, we're here to to talk more about this as you all have, you know, again, a deep dive into this and kind of go on next steps. We think, like I said, very exciting solution to a common problem within healthcare. And, you know, we're excited to partner with many of those on the phone, Steve, yourself, plus Workday, of course, to continue to bring this to market and expand as we find new use cases for it. So we really appreciate the stage to talk about it, and we're really excited about kinda continuing to work this with clients like yourself. Awesome. Thank you so much. You know, I I realized there may be one or two questions that we didn't get to. Again, please do reach out to us. Some of these questions, you know, timing, mechanics of of getting this implemented, these things are something that the team can help you directly with, with respect to your organization. So, thank you so much, team. Very nice to work with you, and thank you everybody who joined us. Hope you have a nice end to your week and into a a good long weekend. Thanks, everyone. Have a great day. Cheers.
