Transcript for "Unlock your investment in Strategic Sourcing Supplier Management": Hi, and welcome to today's session on unlocking the value of Workday strategic sourcing by leveraging supplier management. Today, we're gonna be doing a deep dive into Workday's strategic sourcing capabilities around supplier management here today. So as we jump, to the next slide, just our product statement. We will be talking about what's currently available in the platform. But if anything that comes up that's future forward, we will make sure to delineate those, today. So just a few housekeeping items before we proceed. First, we are recording the session, and we'll be making it available to you via email within twenty four hours. So please be on the lookout for that. Workday uses the gold pass Goldcast platform for our unlock webinar series, which allows you to submit questions, get access to resources, and provide feedback. Goldcast operates most effectively when using Chrome. If you're experiencing any issues at this time, ensure your Chrome that you are using Chrome. If you have any technical issues during the event, please notify us using the QA function. You can get more out of the webinar by using the tabs in the right corner of the screen. Docs has links to valuable and related resources as well. Q and a is where you will submit any questions that you have via the q a q and a function. We will respond to questions directly and hope to get all your questions answered. If not, you will receive an email reply. During the webinar, we will launch poll questions occasionally, and we encourage you to provide us with any input that you might have. Lastly, we will be conducting a short survey after today's event. Please provide your feedback. So with that, I'll quickly introduce myself. My name is Chris Austin. I'm a senior solutions consultant here at Workday, and I specialize in our spend management, area. I've been here just about six years, and come from the sourcing space. We're very familiar with, helping our customers to connect our technology to their processes and excited to walk you through our presentation here today. Later today, I will be joined by our senior services executive, Amberine. She will be wrapping up our presentation with a deep dive, in how you can leverage some of the resources. She'll introduce herself once she jumps on. So today's, agenda is really gonna be focused on a few areas. We're gonna focus on a, overview of Workday strategic sourcing and the value prop and the overview of the platform. Today's focus is really gonna be on one specific workflow around the value of supplier management, but we'll walk you through some of those other capabilities that exist within the platform as well as it relates to source to contract and potentially how it would relate downstream to procure to pay in other areas of Workday. We'll spend, some time in product, understanding how we can leverage supplier management within Workday in a product demonstration, and we'll get into a bit of detail around what that demo would entail in just a moment. From there, I'm gonna transition to my colleague who's gonna talk around ready, set, deploy, and mapping your path, for go live going forward and any next steps that might, result. So with that, we're gonna jump into a few slides, to cover the offering that we have within Workday strategic sourcing specific to supplier management. Also keeping in mind some of the the general use cases that we we tend to see when it comes to supplier, management, and then we'll jump into a quick demo here today. Remember to use that q and a function if you do have questions, throughout. So, hopefully, this is a slide that many of you have seen, in the past. This really does, underpin the offering that we have within Workday. On the right hand side being really the procure to pay, space of Workday, leveraging suppliers, there, being able to leverage the procure to pay space. But with Workday strategic sourcing, we do provide source to contract capabilities that really complement the procure to pay capabilities, and supplier management is one of those areas that we're gonna explore today. But when you're leveraging this end to end, you do get a full end to end source to contract and source to pay offering within more day. So as we move over to the next slide, the next slide really does underpin the specific offering that Workday strategic sourcing provides, to our customers who are leveraging end to end. And we're gonna touch on some of these areas and the majority of them today, keeping in mind that intake really facilitates that front door for stakeholders. So in the context of supplier management, do I have an onboarding request that is coming in from my stakeholders? Do I need to collect certain information? At that point, we give you the ability to do that. Pipeline, similar to running any of the sourcing events that you might run with sort strategic sourcing, is gonna be an area for managing, this collaboratively, bringing in the right stakeholders, perhaps approvals, gathering data when it comes to sourcing management as well as supplier management. So these capabilities will dovetail all those different workflows, giving you the ability to collaborate when it comes to onboarding your suppliers and managing their data. Keep in mind, we also have a contract life cycle management capability that's linked in here. We're super excited about our acquisition of Evisort and continuing to integrate that into this workflow. While Evisort is a full CLM, the first integration or iteration of the connection is gonna really be focused on supplier contracts and getting value from that. So super excited about the work that we're doing there. As we move on to, the next slide, just wanted to give you a sense of what those supplier management offering, really is, here. It's really twofold. It's about being able to drive self-service, supplier onboarding through the supplier portal, in a way that we're capturing our information to onboard those vendors to pay within Workday. It's also during that point that there might be additional forms that need to be collected from from suppliers that are specific to your organization. Think of things like a c, o I, like a certificate of insurance, a w nine. These sorts of things could be managed as well during the onboarding process or during that relationship with the vendor. And then post onboarding, we have a lot of capabilities to manage the scorecard, of that supplier through performance metrics, as well as manage our risk as a as a way of understanding that supplier within your organization. So, ultimately, we do provide the ability to onboard and maintain those suppliers, and then we do give, integrations to third party risk tools to essentially validate that data. And that's, an area that Workday has been focused, in terms of building out those capabilities. So those third parties are on this slide that really highlights some of the functional areas that we do validate data around. I think fraud, security, as well as things like sustainability, and we deliver a number of third parties that we can certainly, bring to you at a later date in terms of these offerings. So the last piece that we'll mention before we jump into the most exciting part of today's presentation, the actual demo, is that as you're running the sourcing, events, or supplier management events within Workday, Pipeline is gonna be a way that you can really prioritize these particular projects, and they don't need to be sourcing related. They can dovetail sourcing events, but it does give you the area to really make it your own as it as you think about the information that you need to collect, the collaboration that needs to happen internally, when it comes to pipeline. And then, ultimately, that starts with an intake request. We'll show you a way that we can really centralize that. And this is really helping you to figure out, you know, how you would manage, that process and how you would centralize, that intake within Workday. So with that, we're gonna jump, into a brief demo that's gonna cover some of these capabilities. Essentially, what we're gonna do is actually start with a completed supplier record, show you what that looks like within, Workday, show you how we link that to the supplier onboarding process within Workday strategic sourcing to essentially convert bidders or suppliers that you haven't worked to to full fledged suppliers, within Workday. During that process, we're gonna talk about how we facilitate that, and that's gonna be through what we call supplier forms. And supplier forms is gonna be the way that we collect data as well as making sure that we're compliant with the organization, say that you need things to be managed on an annual basis or every three years, we'll capture that. So that's gonna be the mechanism that we facilitate the data collection from suppliers, and Workday provides a standard onboarding form and allows our customers to configure additional forms to collect that data. And then, ultimately, we'll end, with the first two bullets is how we intake management for suppliers and how we manage the the workflow associated with those suppliers. Alright. So with that, we are gonna jump, into a quick demo. I'm gonna start, sharing my screen, and we'll go ahead and get started. And just a reminder, if there are questions, utilize that q n a function, and we will be happy to answer them. Alright. So as we transition, into our demo, environment, we are gonna start, in core Workday, and we're gonna start in the persona of Teresa Serrano, everybody's favorite CFO. She wears many hats at Workday. She also manages suppliers, as well, and we're gonna walk through that workflow. So, hopefully, you are all, for your, customers that are entitled to procurement or leveraging dashboards and things of that sort, we will be able to have that configured directly within your Workday, and meet you where you are, in your work. The way that I like to display and talk about our Workday strategic sourcing platform is typically from this procurement dashboard as it harmonizes a lot of the work that I do, in my day to day. But this essentially, will combine a lot of the Workday strategic sourcing capabilities by simple configuration to bring this in a dashboard as I'm highlighting, in the screen. So from a procurement perspective, I have data on my spend. I have data on my current suppliers, and my requisitions on my procure to pay space, but I can also capture things like a savings idea that might be related to sourcing or an onboarding new supplier request as well to keep, track with the use case that we're covering today, as well as the ability to look at my sourcing projects. And then when we talk about Eversort and Workday CLM powered by Eversort, being able to capture those workflows, in one place as well. So since the demo is really gonna be focused on suppliers, today, we'll navigate to one of our supplier records here, ProTech, which is a mock supplier in our environment, and we're gonna show you a completed supplier record within Workday. So within Workday, the typical way that we've done this in the past before leveraging Workday strategic sourcing is actually to manually set up suppliers and create that supplier record within Workday. Again, we are looking to have more automation, and that's gonna be the value of leveraging a tool like Workday strategic sourcing. So in the past, typically, someone who's just an AP would actually manually enter this data. We're validating this maybe, via email that it came in. But with Workday, we're gonna provide you the ability to push a supplier onboarding form to collect this, information automatically and self-service from the supplier. So think of your contact information, basic information around that supplier contact, payment details and payment terms being captured, banking information to be able to pay that supplier being all collected via that self-service onboarding form. Other than that, this should be familiar for those who are managing suppliers that will capture more of the transactional nature of the supplier record, like contracts and purchase orders, invoices, and payments. And once suppliers are onboarded within Workday strategic sourcing and approved within Workday, then we could issue those contracts, those purchase orders, and those invoice against those said suppliers. So as we continue on, wanted to point out that we do have what we call a requisite profile of the supplier. Think of this as the strategic sourcing supplier profile where within this supplier profile, it's really being driven by transactions, like the specific contract here or specific invoice that I wanna dig into, with this particular supplier. When we think about the strategic sourcing supplier profile, this is gonna be really upstream in nature, gonna give you the ability to track more of the upstream elements of dealing with a supplier. So that's onboarding that supplier, capturing the risk of that supplier, understanding what the supplier might provide to your organization, being able to run them through a performance review. These sorts of capabilities are what we enable our customers to do in this side of the platform, that relates to the more strategic elements of that supplier. So how do we make sure that we're running them through performance reviews? How do we ensure that we're capturing action items that result from those performance reviews and making sure that our relationship with these vendors are, in the way that we want them to be. So, essentially, this is gonna allow us to do that directly within the the platform. So as we navigate over to Workday strategic sourcing, again, this is gonna be our area for essentially creating new suppliers and having them go through that approval process. And there's gonna be a couple of things that we're gonna highlight as we go through this as well. The first, is gonna be that you'll be able to ascribe a certain categorization to your suppliers or risk, to really make this your own. So whether that's being able to segment suppliers as you see fit from a strategic perspective, assign a risk, or a risk score. We're gonna have capabilities to understand if this supplier is active, and has gone through the onboarding as the supplier has, within Workday. But, ultimately, what we're gonna give our customers the ability to do is collect all of this information I'm highlighting on the left hand side via the standard onboarding form, and we'll provide a supplier portal to do that. So during this process, essentially, you'll be able to configure what information you wanna display on the profile, what information that we wanna collect from suppliers during this process, all in the settings. So settings are very easy to manipulate and to augment for your use case. But, ultimately, everything that we're capturing on the left, such as supplier information, will be captured within the system. Like we mentioned, we also have third party risk tools that will do integrations to third parties to validate this data. So OFAC is gonna be free and unlimited. You can rerun that screening directly within Workday, and it will provide a, tray where we can pull up that information that OFAC has pulled, either match that, or say that there's no match here. So that's gonna be something that you might want to leverage during this process to ultimately understand if our suppliers are on sanction list, and we don't wanna work with them, and this can be automated into the business process framework as well. So outside of OPAC, we also have integrations to Relish to capture things like addresses, sanction list, and tax information, validate a tax ID. We have OneTrust, as well, EcoVadis, and most recently, Dun and Bradstreet to capture a risk profile as well. So we can bring this data directly into Workday, and then leverage this in the process as you're going through to onboard those vendors. So that's gonna be something that you can leverage, within Workday with these out of the box integrations. Outside of that, that just think of this as really being the standard onboarding form, things like commodity codes will capture at this for a subset of customers that this is important, being able to capture things like business information such as the the address and being able to run it through the check, like I had just mentioned, the banking, information, diversity status is important for some of our customers, and contact information we're all gonna collect out of the box, being able to capture multiple contacts at any specific supplier organization. So this is gonna be delivered out of the box via the standard onboarding form. And what we do at Workday is then give you the ability to configure anything additional that might be important for you all, and we can do that also through a supplier form. In this case, if there's information that's gonna be important to capture around the supplier record, simply configure an area for demographic data or security data for our security teams, or perhaps you have an ESG team that's capturing data specific to the supplier. We can capture that on the supplier record, and a call it life hack that we can manage here is to actually have this filled out from the supplier. Once that's filled out, we can actually have it auto populate for key data points that are important to us to the supplier profile. So this is gonna be an area that you can leverage during the onboarding piece. Say this is a form that you sent out, and once the supplier is approved, it can live on the record. So that's the concept of the supplier portal, or the supplier onboarding. And now we're gonna go over to really understanding how we see that from the supplier perspective. So as we move over, to now Marcus Noble, Marcus Noble is a supplier at ProTech. This is an example of that supplier profile that we're gonna provide that's free and unlimited. This is also an example if you've heard, about what we've been talking about regarding unified supplier portal as one stop shop for suppliers to manage both procurement, as well as upstream things like an event, like a supplier RFP, or a specific contract or a specific form that we're gonna capture during the onboarding piece. So this is gonna be where we capture that data. And to really make it, like into what we captured in the supplier portal and the onboarding form, we can see that it's actually equivalent to the supplier information that we're capturing here. So there's not really a difference. Right? We're capturing, all the data here as it relates to the general profile back in Teresa's profile. And into the supplier profile, we can see that we're essentially coming in, editing our data, building in in a easy manner, and then submitting it as a supplier. Anything that you additionally, request, you can do that as well, and be able to have additional forms that might dovetail the onboarding process, keeping in mind that forms can be pushed at any point, during a relationship with that vendor. It doesn't have to be pushed only during onboarding, but that's a common use case. And wanted to quickly show you what that would look like for a newly added supplier, for a supplier who hasn't been extended the access to work in procurement because they haven't gone through the onboarding journey. But you can see that you can very easily set up an onboarding journey, see the specific fields that you want them to fill out and the forms that you want them to fill out and give them specific due dates. This is what, a supplier that's not quite fully onboarded with Workday would look like, but we can provide that journey. And then once they're onboarded completely, they'll have access to their procurement portal, things like purchase orders, invoices, payments, catalogs, so on and so forth. So that's really an overview of the supplier portal, but wanted to make sure that it was really clear how we're capturing that data and how it links to that supplier onboarding form that this is being facilitated through the supplier onboarding. Alright. So back in the persona of Teresa Serrano, who's managing, the vendor as we continue to go through the other capabilities here, Essentially, we'll be able to see all the activity with the supplier from this record, whether they're in things like performance reviews or supplier onboarding, projects that they're involved with from that perspective. The idea of forms are gonna be captured here as well. We're gonna manage that all in the what we call template library, so you'll be able to stand up as many forms as you want. These can be done at onboarding or ad hoc or with some type of cadence. So many of our customers will collect, say, a SOC two every three years from an IT vendor. We can facilitate that process, here as well. And as you can see, when we do set up those forms, they can essentially have validity dates. We can see that they're approved at a certain date, and we can very easily rerun these forms, in the future to one or a subset or all of our suppliers within Workday. So, forms really is gonna facilitate, that that process. Not gonna get into a deep dive on how they work, but very easy to configure. You can set them up in the templates. They can have, specific sections, as you see fit. And, ultimately, they will each have an approval workflow that you can also set up. Before we jump, into the project record to show essentially how we can have intake through the onboarding of the supplier, Couple things I wanted to highlight that might be useful to you all as you're going through the process of post onboarding and making sure that we're capturing the relationship with that vendor is that with supplier management, you're gonna have performance reviews, included. This is gonna give you the ability to run scorecards with those vendors both internally and externally, track elements that are gonna be important to you across the business, and whether it be pricing and financials or innovation, see how your suppliers are ranking there, and then we'll have scorecard capabilities to capture this this data internally. So something that you can certainly leverage, once your suppliers are onboarded. And, typically, I would say our customers are doing this with a subset of their suppliers. Typically, they're tier one suppliers that they're working with. To that point, after those supplier reviews have happened, there might be a number of mutual action items that you want them to improve on to include information on how they're gonna get better on pricing, for an example. So you'll be able to add specific action items, do the relationship with that vendor, assign individuals at protect that mock supplier, or at GMS, USA, our mock company, to complete those, give them a priority, link them to a specific project record within Workday strategic sourcing. So maybe it's linked to a sourcing project, an onboarding project, or or supplier rationalization, project as as an example, being able to set that reminder to ensure that we are tracking toward that, deliverable, and being able to track things like maybe a deck that may have come through, this process. So being able to really have that full end to end life cycle, with that supplier, including a history log of all the changes that happened with that supplier, as well. So just keep in mind that this will be sort of a one stop shop for managing, that supplier. Alright. So as we continue on, essentially, what we've showed was the completed supplier profile, in Workday, how we have a requisite profile, in strategic sourcing as the mechanism for capturing this data, also converting potential bidders who we've worked with in the past but haven't quite decided that we're gonna award or onboard that vendor, but we captured that data here. We showed how the onboarding form is essentially everything that I'm highlighting here and how that links to the supplier portal. We showed two versions of the supplier portal, the unified supplier portal, where, that supplier had already been through the onboarding process and had everything turned on in Workday from, seeing their sourcing events all the way to seeing their invoices. And we also saw that newly added supplier that had a subset of those things as they were going through the onboarding process. We also saw a bit around the performance management and action items, things that you would do after a supplier has been onboarded, and we talked a bit around how supplier forms will facilitate this process. So let's bring it all together and talk about how this can be leveraged, in a full end to end, workflow. And then we'll end our demo there, and talk a bit around services and deployment. So, hopefully, everybody, who is leveraging Workday strategic sourcing or has seen it before is familiar with this concept of, pipeline. But pipeline is really gonna be a place for managing all projects within Workday strategic sourcing, and those projects can dovetail all those areas that we showed in the flywheel that include the ability to look at supplier management events or specific projects that might be over a $100,000 as they spend or all of our sourcing projects. This becomes a a record that all of our people are working in, and we're only gonna expose folks to the information that they need, information on as well. So we'll be able to delineate this view based on, say, only supplier managers seeing things like supplier onboarding and performance. So this is gonna be a place for managing, filtering through our project records. We do have the concept of intake that's gonna be important for a subset of our customers. Intake is gonna allow for some of this information to be captured from your stakeholders, making sure that things are captured, at a in a timely manner. And, also, this provides visibility to that stakeholder or stakeholders throughout the process of the onboarding. Other than that, this might be a place that you're looking at things that might need attention. And then also that request framework that we had mentioned, ultimately, make this your own, and we could surface information that's important specific to these project types. As we jump into jumping into covering the idea of, intake, intake will flow, into this request bucket that I'm highlighting here. And for a moment, I want you just to imagine, that we are in the persona of, say, a stakeholder. Sorry. My computer wants me to restart this. Apologies for that. But we are, in the stakeholder, persona for a second, and then we can engage, with procurement. This allows you to stand up what we call a concierge or configurable intake form to really drive stakeholders and users to the right area within Workday. What's cool about this area is we can also harmonize procure to pay workflows like going over to a requisition or porting out to one of your item catalogs directly here or as well having internal policies for how you onboard vendors or how you run sourcing events. So you can really make this your own. Ultimately, though, this is really gonna drive efficiencies with your stakeholders, gives our customers the ability to really configure this to make sense, for their specific stakeholders they're working with. For instance, being able to build filters around vendor onboarding or purchasing assistance to drive them to the right area within Workday. And that example, right, we can go to Amazon business, requisitions, item catalogs, or to RFP. Just really makes it easy to centralize everything that you're doing within Workday even if it's not supplier onboarding. But to keep in vain of what our topic is today around vendor onboarding, we'll quickly go into what, supplier request might look like. And, really, the goal of this particular part of our demo is to show that everything is, for one, driven on project types. So you'll be able to really configure it and take form that makes sense. And then, ultimately, you'll be able to make this your own, capture things that are required, and really make it easy for a stakeholder to come in and submit this request while you're getting the information that's required to make this request go to the next level or to the next step. And all the data that we're capturing here can also be leveraged for routing and approvals. So let's quickly walk through what this might look like and show you how many of our customers are leveraging this. Ultimately, what we see is a lot of conditionality being built into these forms. Am I looking to work with a new or an existing supplier? Perhaps that invites new workflow. Perhaps that invites new individuals to participate. We can certainly do that. If we're looking to work with an existing supplier, then nothing additional will populate. So these are the sort of things that we can do. We can make things required as in making this a required field for justification for that new supplier. So we're not gonna go through the work unless you provide a good reason for that, and you could also include hints to your stakeholders. So, really, this is about increasing that ROI, increasing the cycle times, and ensuring that we get that adoption that we typically see with this product by ensuring it's super easy to use. Essentially, the concept of intake wasn't gonna spend a ton of time here, but I think it's just the values here, just the ability to really capture the data that's gonna be important to you, make things required, have things be conditional so that additional information, populates, and we will support a myriad of different file types, and collection types, as well, URLs, attachments, other types of, requests that we have here. So all in all, make this your own. Leverage this if you want. This will streamline the process. It also allows them to invite additional stakeholders to follow along, the process here as well. But once those requests do get completed, they essentially can flow into the correct inbox of that individual who is residing within Workday. So for the sake of time, we have actually, prepopulated a project called new supplier registration, and imagine that this might have come in via intake. It also could have been initiated by that sourcing manager or the supplier manager who manages that as well. So, again, we are in a project record. This particular project record does not have a sourcing, project turned on to it, and that's intentional. But we can easily have a related project that relates to a strategic sourcing event and have that related, as well. Ultimately, though, this is really gonna be driven by the fact that this project type is supplier onboarding. It's gonna drive everything that we see in the field here, and everything that you see can be configured. In this example, we're having a general project description where we're capturing key objectives, stakeholders, and their role. Again, this is bringing in everybody collaboratively to internally collaborate when it comes to onboarding this vendor, having any type of preapprovals, and having that information that might have come in via intake like the justification for a new supplier be built in here. And that can also link to things like project approvals directly within the platform where this needs to go through procurement, leveraging if then language of everything that's captured within this project record. So all in all, really making this your own, capturing the data that's gonna be important for you all, and then making sure that we're capturing things like a certificate of insurance at this level, or any information that we could do either via a supplier form as well as we can do sort of this pre vetting of that supplier at this point, start to push those supplier forms, give them due dates. And, again, those will have separate approvals that you can set up on each of those supplier forms. Alright. So as we continue on here, a couple things that we'll highlight that might be useful as you're going through, your projects. You'll always have team chat to manage your internal communications. This will also be your place for managing your process, so we'll have specific milestones to be able to understand what five or six steps are required for setting up those vendors, being able to assign due dates, being able to assign individuals, and being able to track bottlenecks that might happen with your process. And then, ultimately, it's really gonna be around understanding what these processes are, building those out, and we'll be able to reflect that in what we call the project progress here. So everyone that's involved, in this, project record can understand that these are gonna be the steps that we need to go through to really instill the process at your organization and make sure that suppliers are onboarded in the correct way. So your internal communications and process will be reflected here. You'll be able to sign those milestones. And then when you're ready, invite the correct suppliers here. We're gonna integrate those supplier, the database here. You can always add a new supplier, on the fly. The bare minimum is gonna be an email address, supplier name, and a supplier contact there, and then we can start the process of engaging, with those vendors. And it allows for us to capture, you know, whether the supplier is approved, and the forms themselves can be published and draft and then approved directly within the system, within Workday. So the last thing, that we'll cover, here is that once we push those forms, to the vendors that will be, registered within Workday, they'll be able to access that supplier portal and fill those forms out. And then once we do approve those forms and go through the approval process, essentially, we will move that supplier, to a completed, state, and that will be our workflow. And whether that's bringing in multiple stakeholders to work on that work, going through those milestones to complete them, and then moving them to a completed project, we'll be able to move that vendor directly to, that completed status. So as we, wrap up this piece of it, essentially, this will create that new supplier record, within Workday for this newly added supplier. And, essentially, as we go and edit the supplier and move them to an approved status, that will be the mechanism that will actually create the same record within Workday, pull over the requisite supplier onboarding information once we've captured and approved that data, and then we will create that record automatically within Workday. I would say the majority of our customers still have that go through the new supplier business process framework to make sure that that vendor is set up correctly for AP. But once we do that, we'll have what we call the supplier three sixty, and I'm gonna show you that. It will likely end on that today. And this is gonna give you that high level overview once that supplier has moved to the unapproved status. Essentially, what will happen, will be it will create that record within Workday, to have that more transactional record of that supplier, here, which we'll click into, in a second to kind of, end where we started here today. But, ultimately, the supplier three sixty, as we go through this, is gonna give us a high level overview once the supplier's onboarded of the information that we've captured in terms of the segmentation. It'll give us status on the onboarding's form and if they've been completed. It will tell us if we have any of those forms that are expiring. As I had mentioned, that forms inherently can have due dates, so they can be valid for one year, three years, six months, thirty seven days. You'll be able to, typically establish that and have a visibility of those forms that are coming up for expiry and then ultimately being able to run them through, risk checks directly within Workday, see all the forms that are in progress or finalized. We talked a bit around how we harmonize things like performance reviews and action items. They will also pull into the supplier three sixty so we can understand the relationship of our vendor, and looks like that relationship has been increasing over time, which is great. We'll also pull in things like contract data that are being pulled, from Workday or from Workday CLM, as well, being able to harmonize that data. And like we mentioned, the third party risk data as well, EcoBodice is an example of that, but being able to really pull in this risk score as you see fit and navigate directly to that EcoBodice, risk score really, underpinning the integration that we have to some of these third party risk tools to really, under underpin the the process that you have within your organization and ensure that we capture this data at the supplier level. The last thing I'll mention before we end on our supplier record, and I transition, over to a couple of slides, to wrap us up, is the fact that you can really make this your own, and capture things that might be sourcing related or vendor related to whoever's doing those workflows within the platform. So this additional information gives you the ability to include things like a supplier bid list and understand what that supplier might provide to you all. It's also gonna capture all the activity with that supplier, including any supplier events like an RFP that they've been, awarded, as well. And at a high level, to harmonize everything that we're doing from a procure to pay perspective, We can easily see some purchase orders related to the supplier and navigate to that purchase order directly within Workday, as well. So what we'll do here is just sort of end on that supplier record, navigating to where we started from that completed record within Workday to that, completed record within Workday strategic sourcing. Again, showing that end to end connection of intake through the onboarding of that supplier. So as we navigate, back to our slides here and jump, into just seeing how this does provide value for some of our our customers, this is just a good example of, you know, a customer that was really leveraging Workday strategic sourcing across a number of areas. I know our focus today was on strategic sourcing for supplier management. But but for this particular customer, they were able to get really quick time to value by deploying Workday across many countries in just six months. They were able to run, six times the number of RFPs, expected in the first year, and this is really leveraging, technology versus a manual process that we see a ton of our customers doing, today before they move over to Workday. And, also, like we mentioned in the pipeline and the intake is having that increased collaboration when it comes to, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. And not only are we bringing in our internal stakeholders to work, we're bringing in our suppliers as well in that supplier portal, which is free and unlimited, which is also a differentiator for Workday as well. And then lastly, probably most akin to what we covered here today is being able to have improved risk assessments by assigning vendor ratings to, those vendors. So that's the ability to really customize it, segment your vendors as you see fit, and we can facilitate that through supplier forms and performance reviews, as well. So I will leave you with just a number of additional resources that might be relevant for you all, as we transition, but I believe that the sourcing road map, is available in Workday community. We're doing a ton, around, our road map specifically as it relates to our full offerings. I would advise you to check that out. We're also, having a a unified supplier experience that won't go into a bit more detail on what I covered here today, but really talking about the the unified supplier experience. And that's a great demo slash presentation to watch, as a follow-up. And then lastly, wanted to point you to our spend management area within Workday communicate Workday community. There's a lot of communication, collaboration going on there, and a ton about our new features. Super excited about some of our offerings there today, especially coming out of Verizon. So with that, I'm gonna transition to, my colleague who's gonna take us through on deployment. Thank you so much. Hello, everyone. My name is Ambreen Ahmed. I go by Amber. I've been in the Workday ecosystem for over thirteen years, and I have helped not just implement Workday, but also go through different road mapping and transformational exercises on how you can enhance your operations through Workday and Workday journey. Before we get into our, deployment options, a quick overview of agenda. We are going to discuss what deployment options you have, some resources for you in terms of training, things of that nature, deployment approach, how to decide which approach to take, things of that nature before we wrap up the call. Prior to going into the deployment options, I do want to get into the subscription options for Workday strategic sourcing. So for we offer two main tiers to fit your needs, essential and expert. Under the essential SKU, think of this as your basic level package. It gives you the fundamental tools to manage your sourcing part pipeline track savings, run sourcing events, things of that nature. This includes your entire r RFX engine, so you can conduct RFPs, RFIs, reverse auctions for that, if needed. The plan comes with, up to 10 licensed users, and you can see on the right side, if you start with essentials, you can later add on modules like sourcing intake, supplier management, or contracts individual individually as well, all of the things that, Chris demoed for us. We also have the expert SKU available. This is your all inclusive package. It includes everything under the essential plan, but it also bundles the add on modules from the start. So you get the intake, the ticketing systems for stakeholder request. You get the supplier relationship. You also get all the contracts, the full repository for your agreements. The expert SKU also doubles your user count. So you can see it's up to 20 licensed users. But in short, Essential provides you the core sourcing, event tools, and Expert gives you the full breadth of everything end to end suite with entire sourcing life cycle. So let's get into our deployment option. To get you live, we recommend, either going with Workday services or a partner led deployment effort. This is a do it for you model, so we or the partner would handle the full deployment of this SKU, whichever one you choose to go with, making it ideal for teams, you know, if you're struggling with low internal bandwidth or there are conflicting priorities, or you're just a lean team. We're here to support you. But regardless of whether you go with Workday directly or one of our certified services partners, both are powerful strategic moves. It really boils down to three core advantages. First is streamline operations and cost efficiency. So many organizations that we see, whether they're deploying Workday or taking on the optimization and enhancement with additional SKUs are dealing with fragmented, processes or high overhead. By leveraging a deployment partner, you're not just centralizing it. You're also getting a standard approach, so you're getting those expertise. And then we're delivering this across the board. So, again, driving down, cost and your, burnout rate for your team as well. You get access. Second thing is you get access to specialized, expertise. Right? So instead of trying to build and maintain a large internal team for every possible need, you're partnering with us, allowing us to tap into that deep expertise only and exactly when you need it. So this gives you ease in terms of ramping up, scaling back down once the need is done, and that saves you time and money as well. And then lastly, what I'll mention under this option is, you know, consistent service, measurable success. So a partnership gives you predictability. You're able to rely on the service backed on the SLAs that we provide, specialists if you're choosing to go with our partner, the what they provide, and there's no guest work there. There's consistency that ensures deployments are successful. You're improving your overall satisfaction, and it gives you performance metrics that you can track as well. So you get the best ROI in your investment. So in all, what I'll share is that partnering with us is just not it's not about, us or our partners. It's not about outsourcing. It's about gaining that strategic advantage through efficiency, on demand needs and expertise, and reliable right reliability in your team. Next, let's go into, our deployment approach and some considerations you should keep in your back pocket as you're looking to go down this journey. This slide gives you a sample of our deployment timeline. At the very top, like, you see that, you know, the sample is an eight week timeline. This is just a general guide of what a typical timeline may look like and all the phases within our timeline. Below that, you see that we have two deployment approaches. One is a quick start and the other one is your way. The quick start is exactly what it sounds like. It's a rapid deployment. It's a condensed timeline with limited customization. It's great to get you up and running really fast. And as you can see, it's about seven weeks for essentials model. It can go up to fourteen weeks if you're choosing to go with the expert SKU. So the the options that I provided under subscriptions, the two options. The key to note here is that this approach under quick start does not include data conversion for projects or contracts. So, you you know, just be mindful of that. On the other side, we have your way. This is a fully our fully configurable iterative approach, and it's more tailored. It's more in-depth implementation. It includes data conversion for your suppliers, projects, contracts, things of that nature. And the timeline can go anywhere from, thirteen weeks for essentials all the way up to twenty seven weeks for a full expert's view. Both approaches are great. It's important to remember that, these timelines can be impacted by, you know, the complexity you may have under these SKUs and number of integrations that you may need as well. So to determine which, specific timeline or which deployment approach is the best fit, what we have done here is provide you to guys some discovery questions to start asking yourselves internally, as well as reaching out to the Workday rep on your end to help determine which SKU would be the right approach. So we need to define whether you guys are going with essentials or expert, the all inclusive. Expert, SKU, includes the intake, the supplier management, the contracts, which naturally spans the, you know, scope and the timeline. If you are going with the essential SKU, you know, you need to think about what are the add ons, when you guys will be taking those on, how critical are they. Also, another key step here is to determine, excuse me, our integrations or connectors, are they needed? So integrating with your Workday tenant is going to be a separate SOW. So we need to know, do you need to sync your suppliers? Do you need to pass through contracts to Workday? Sending out sourcing awards and creating rec requisition. All of these require some level of connectors, and we want to make sure we're asking that question on the front end. If that is your need, then we need to factor that in which SKU will be the best fit, and then which deployment approach will be the best fit. And finally, data conversion needs. What are the historical datas, if any, you need to bring in? Do you have the right internal sources like process administration, administrator, a technical administrator that can help you, define those and help the deployment team bring those in. What we have also done for you guys here is provided, just like Chris went through, the training content and other, resources available to you. This is a similar slide. So there is a strategic sourcing for administrator available to you that you can sign up for through community. It's, one credit, but we have also included here, you know, frequently asked questions around, strategic sourcing under the strategic overview. So please go into community and look through those. A lot of the questions you may have today or in the come upcoming days may be answered through that. We have also included here some community resources like your adoption guide as well as the strategic sourcing road map. So all of these are documented for you and great tools to leverage as you're thinking about this journey. Some next steps for you guys. So, please leverage the QR code embedded here. Connect with your account executive. They are the ones who will help you define which SKU will be the best approach. They will also engage a services executive similar to me, that will help you which deployment approach will be the best fit, determining the timeline. Also, the street the services executive can help you outline a resource heat map based on the timeline too so you can see the peaks and valleys of when, how the bandwidth of your resources will be impacted or if there are any gaps that, you know, we need to address prior to the deployment. It's a great tool, great conversation to have. Again and then we'll finalize the package for the SKUs, the deployment approach, and, provide you guys with the SOW. And, honestly, this is a great tool to have. A lot of our clients are leveraging it, and they're seeing the benefits and how it talks to the other systems within Workday such as procurement, and financials from a reporting perspective as well. So, have fun with this. This is all I have for you today. Any questions, by all means, please leverage the q and a on the left hand side. Thank you, everyone.
