Transcript for "Empower Your Institution to Thrive With Workday’s AI":
Okay. I think we are ready to get started. Anesia, can you just give me a thumbs up that you can hear me okay? Fantastic. Well, we are so excited to be here with all of you today to talk about how to empower your institution to thrive with Workday Illuminate. I, and my name is Kate Gill. I'm a business architect here at Workday supporting higher education, And I am joined by my fantastic colleague, Anicia Osborne, who is an HCM solutions consultant in higher ed. We are so thrilled to be able to walk you through, how we're using AI every day and how we're talking to all of the higher education institutions that we work with about Workday Illuminate. So to kick us off, I'm gonna start with a quick product statement. We will be going through some forward looking things today. So we're gonna be showing you some new and very exciting, features in the tenant that you might not have available in your tenants. So wanted to show this quick prompt statement to to request that you make any purchasing decisions based on what is readily available in your tenant today. And I'll also share this recording legal disclaimer that, all information in this demo is proprietary and intellectual property of Workday. Alright. So we will start with a quick agenda. So, we've gone through introductions already. I wish we could introduce every single person on the line, but from what I hear, there are over a 100 of you, so that might be kind of difficult. So we're gonna jump right into our AI strategy and vision, talk you a little bit about how we are thinking about Workday AI. We're gonna walk you through a feature capability demo. So we'll showcase how we're using AI in Workday today, and then we will talk about the future. So we'll talk about what's ahead and show you some very exciting things on the road map. So kicking thing off things off with a little bit about our AI strategy and vision, every institution that I'm talking to, all of the leaders are very concerned about being future ready and thinking about how they can incorporate AI into what they're doing every day. In fact, we surveyed nearly 200 higher ed leaders and these are some of the results that came through. 90% said they needed to improve the student experience so they can recruit and retain students for all types of programs. 92% they need said they needed to improve processes so faculty and staff can focus more specifically on student success and strategic work. And 88% wanted a unified system to bring together data across the entire institution, HR, finance, academic, employee, all in one platform to allow them to make data informed decisions and focus on what's ahead. So it's clear. I'm sure every single one of you on the call wants to be a future ready institution, and that's really where Workday comes in. So our vision for higher ed is simple. It's really powerful as well, and it is to enable you with a flexible, unified AI platform that elevates your student success, empowers the entire campus community with strategic human centered business processes that connect HR, finance, and student, and we understand fundamentally how those processes are operating. We understand where users spend their time. We understand how that time could be spent in more efficient ways. And this is an extremely powerful combination that no other company in the world of HR and finance can offer because it enables us to truly rethink the way we work, it enables us to transform critical processes, and enables us to deliver very impactful value to all of our customers. So in the world of HR, that means reimagining the way that we are creating jobs, and really reducing that end to end process up to 50%. For finance, it's using AI to close the books in half the time with half the people. And for students, it's meeting them where they are with the tools and capabilities that they're used to using in everyday life. So we really wanna provide a more seamless and engaging experience to focus on what's most important to their student pathway. So we are excited to walk through how we're delivering value in each of these areas and where we're headed next. I also want to share, we just, came off of Workday Rising and we celebrated our 20 year birthday. It was so exciting. We had a huge party. That's how long we've been powering some of the biggest higher institutions and companies out there. And through this time, we've learned a ton about how they work, which is truly the foundation of our AI. It's not just throwing it at problems. We're really thinking about how people do their jobs, the skills they use, the tasks that they tackle every day, and that's how we make AI a real partner to your organization and give you that strategic advantage that helps your people shine. So I'm really excited to be able to walk you through what some of these features look like in Tenet. So we have put together a a a brief demo for you to kind of walk through a typical experience across the entire institution from hello, when we're thinking about hiring an employee to hired and really share this data driven story with you around Workday eliminate. So I'm gonna jump off here and jump into the tenant. So give me just a second. And just getting the thumbs up from my partner, Anisia, that she can see my screen. Fantastic. Okay. Wonderful. Let's get started. So I am I'm super excited to introduce you to Workday, and we're gonna introduce you through a couple of different personas. So I'm coming in from the persona of an HR leader, and our leader's name is Logan and McNeil. And, Logan is tasked with, first and foremost, because she wants to hire a new employee, she has to find budget for that new role. So she has to really look into the organization, find budget for her new role, and she's gonna use AI to help her with that. So I'm, going in under my profile slogan, and one of the really cool things that we offer in Workday, is something called drive. And in your drive, kind of like a Google drive, it gives you the ability to create presentations and create workbooks and, create discovery boards which are kind of drag and drop, dashboards that you can create. And one of the things that I really like to do, and Logan likes to do every day is create workbooks. So she can analyze the salary in her group and try to find budget for this new position. So all of the data that's coming into this workbook is actually coming in live. You can see I have that add live data button. And so I've got all the salaries in my group, that are automatically noted here. But what I wanna do is as I'm looking for this new position that I'm hiring for, so I wanna hire a responsible, AI officer in my organization, I need to figure out how much salary I can actually put towards this position. So I need to to I need to understand from on my total salary, what 3% of that might be. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna use my formula writer. So this is an AI feature that's going to assist you in writing formulas in workbooks. And this is really nice because not everybody is in Excel or a sheets wizard. So I could come in here and I can ask for a very simple formula, which is I need 3% of the sum of cell c two through c 17. And then what it's gonna do is it's gonna generate that formula for me. I can insert it into cell c 18, and it's going to show me the top end of that salary range that I can offer. It's also going to teach me along the way. So the formula explanation, I think, is a really important part of the puzzle. It's gonna tell me what that formula how that formula is built, how it came up with that number, and, of course, I can, adjust or modify it as needed. And that's a very simple formula. There are examples of much more complex formulas here that you could work within the formula writer, but it's about saving time. And it's about not kind of thinking about what kind of formula you need to write, but having AI work for you. So that's great. So I have the ability now, now that I know the top end of my budget to offer to actually create a job, which is pretty cool. But maybe I don't know how to create a job because I'm a little bit more high level than that in my role, and so it's been a while since I actually created a job requisition. So I need to actually figure out how do I create a position. So I'm gonna come in here to Ask Workday, and Ask Workday is our user interface that interacts with all of our newest agents, which we'll talk about in just a little bit. So Ask Workday allows me in natural language to ask questions, and it will direct and guide me where in the tenant I need to go. So what I'm going to ask workday is how do I create a position? Just super simple question. And we'll give it just a second. It's thinking. You can see it's processing my request with my policy agent. So it's actually calling out to an agent, and then it's going to give me an answer. So it's gonna show me to create a job requisition, you can access the recruiting booklet and select create job requisition. It's also gonna show me a source, so it's going to take me directly to an article where I can learn in more detail about how to create that job requisition. And in this article, I can actually go directly to create the job requisition, which will take me to that task. So the Workday, the Ask Workday interface is with me all along the way. You can see even here in my create job requisition area, it's still there, and I can ask additional questions like, what's the approval process? What details do I need to include when I'm creating a job requisition? Or I can hand key and continue that narrative path with, the the task and ask Workday itself. So in my case, I know a little bit about the approval process, so I don't need to keep asking questions here. I'm just gonna create a new position for my HR services department, and then I'm gonna come in here and start working with, this job requisition. You'll notice that I have an analytic that pops up, which is gonna show me job openings in the organization that I manage already. So that way, I'm making sure that I'm not creating any duplicates, which again is Workday working for you all the way through. So, I'll just go ahead and close that out, and I'm gonna go into my job and start creating that job rack. So like I said, I wanted to create a new position, and I'm hiring for a, chief responsible AI officer. And so I'm gonna put this under the job profile of I've got a risk analyst in there. And you'll notice that when I select that profile, it's gonna automatically pop in that job description summary for me based on the profile that I've selected. Excuse me. Oh, yes. Your screen is not sharing. Can you refresh so we can see where you are? It's still on the browse jobs interface. Oh, oh, darn it. Thank you so much for letting me know that, Alicia. You're welcome. Let's see here. The good news is I didn't even get to the exciting part yet. So, alright, there we are. There we are. Are you able to see me now? Yes. Thank you. Okay. Excellent. Excellent. So a couple steps back, you guys might have missed a couple things there in the process, but, basically, we've got to the job task and, it's pulling up the job details. So what I did was I gave the job posting a title, a description summary, and a job profile. And now for the job description, which normally takes the longest amount of time, this is where AI can really come in and help me. So I'm gonna generate this job description with AI. And so it's generating that job description based on the job posting title, the company name, the skills associated, and so instantly, it automatically created that new job description for me, taking a ton of work off of my plate, in order to actually create that job description and make that happen. So going from finding the salary to understanding how to create a job requisition to actually writing the job description, I was able to do that within a matter of, what, Anisia, maybe ten minutes. So very quick. And now I can go in and I can improve that job description and post the job. So the great thing about, using these AI tools is that, again, they're really designed to save you time. They're designed to keep you as a human in the loop. Remember, as I'm in here, I can come in and adjust and modify anything in this job description to my liking, but it's taking a lot of that time out of the process of creating creating things like a job description. So I'm gonna go ahead and post this job, and what that means, after I posted the job is maybe the person accepted the job, and now I can pass it on to you, Anisia, to talk about what happens after that person gets hired. So I'm gonna go ahead and stop sharing and let you pop on and take it from here. Thank you so much, Kate. Keep yourself. I'm gonna go ahead and share my screen. And if you can just give me a confirmation that you can see it. K. Awesome. Thank you so much. Well, I appreciate you for handing off the baton in regards to that life cycle of creating that position, generating that job description using AI, and making sure that our new employees are ready for their very first day. And so we hear a lot at Workday that our customers are always concerned about how to disseminate information to be able to capture those different policies and ensuring that we're sharing it to the right folks within our university. And so one of those ways that you can do that within Workday is utilizing Workday help. Workday help allows for you to have that knowledge management and also that case management where you are able to upload different, PDFs, policies that are important to your organization, and you are able to usher those into articles and share that throughout those different employees, managers, faculty, and even students within your university. So I've logged in as Jill Jones who works in tandem with Logan in which you saw earlier with Kate. And with Jill, she has a lot of different access and the security to be able to do what matters most. And so in regards to our customers being able to share information, we're just gonna go right into the search bar and create an article. And when we create an article in Workday that allows for us to be able to set the scene and provide that information in the format that is most useful and most efficient to our users within our university. And so with the assistance with Workday Health, we are able to use generative AI to to be able to generate that content in the form of an article and get it shared. You have some options. You can either upload that article right from the Workday Drive or you can upload that file right from your computer. And so Jill Jones is going to select that responsible Workday, PDF or policy that she has. And so she is able to tailor and configure this particular article to those different audiences. And so this is where you are empowered to choose. And so you can either have this sent for all of the users within your university, just for managers, employees, or even administrators to ensure that it's most fitting to who it needs to go to. And so now we pulled our documents, and we can generate our article using AI that is delivered within Workday. And so we can see here on the screen that Workday is thinking. It is generating based upon that content and that it has successfully uploaded. And so this allows for you to work more efficiently in regards to how you are going to structure your information that needs to be shared and whom to which you are going to share it with. But you'll also see that the document is still here and which provides us with the source of where we're getting that information. Now on the right hand side, you are also able to set the settings of your particular article. So this is where you can control who has access to that information and what they can do. And so you can set the language of this article. So think about, the most used languages within your university. You can set how it will be, viewed within, Workday. And so we're gonna select English. And so, also, you can set the category as well. So the category in which this article needs to be housed, in in your platform. And so we're gonna choose, human resources. You also have that ability to denote who can view it. And so this is where you are going to identify which audiences will be able to have access or the security based upon their role. And because this is a responsible AI practice, it says Workday. We want everybody to be able to know the value and the impact of who we are and what we do, so we're gonna set that to be the public. Also, if you are operating at a campus that has multiple locations, you also have the ability to either disseminate this information to your, primary or main campus or to other locations as well. And last but certainly not least, you can apply different tags to this article. So not only do you have the ability to upload information to create the article and to set the settings and tags, this will also allow it to be easier for your users to be able to find and search for this particular document. So we're gonna put in responsible AI as a possible tag. We can have Workday AI. We could have Illuminate, and we also may wanna just have AI article. So now that we set the settings, our administrator, Jill Jones, wants to ensure that it's good to go before publishing, so we're able to preview it. Within Workday, you are able to see the preview of your article from the desktop view, from the tablet view, and even from the mobile device. No matter how you access Workday, we ensure that we are tailored and allow for you to adjust to the means of how you're able to do your work, whether you're in the office or you're out and about. So now that Jill has previewed her article, she's gonna go ahead and publish it. And it's immediately going to be saved to her help article workspace, and she has that confirmation that it was AI generated. So when we think about Workday Illuminate and how we are assisting with our administrators, you can use deliberate AI within our platform to ensure that you have the information that you need to distribute and disseminate it in a very efficient manner. Now some other things that we're able to do with our AI capabilities, we also gotta think about our employees as well. We don't wanna leave them out of the fun in regards to how they are able to be more efficient and empowered, within Workday. So I've logged in as John So to, who is one of our employees. And so when we're thinking about that life cycle from when our employees have been recruited, for when they're starting on their first day throughout their life cycle and their job changes at the university, you want to ensure that they are able to access what matters most and to do it in an easy manner. And so logging in as John So to, our employee, as we can see, Workday has provide efficiency in regards to the user interface, but, also, we have delivered AI capabilities such as Workday Assistant. And Workday Assistant is delivered within our platform. It allows for you to find information, navigate Workday, and to get things done. So say, for instance, your employees, your new hires, or even our veterans as well, They don't remember where they need to go to access information, but they knew that there are articles within the system. Simply by using Workday assistance, our employee is able to search in casual term in casual language, articles. And Workday assistant says, what articles are you interested in? Remember, we set those tags on articles that allows for easy access. And so John is able to type in responsible AI. And Workday Assistant not only provides him with the top articles for responsible AI, but those different sources. And with John being empowered with Workday and AI, he is able to have self-service to dive into, the suggestions and go right to the source. So you are able to see in real time how your administrators are able to share information and then how our users are able to use AI to get information so it will be able to satisfy their needs and their daily work path and tasks within Workday. And not only can John view this particular article, he also has the ability to see the source in which it was derived from, and he can leave some feedback as to which has this article been helpful. Absolutely. He now is equipped with responsible AI practices when working with Workday. Now some other things that John is able to do outside of using AI to find information, think about career development. We hear a lot from our customers that they're looking for a platform that aids in talent and learning and also performance. And guess what? We assist you with that with Workday through Workday's talent optimization. With Workday talent optimization, you are able to empower your employees to be able to have that career passing and suggestions for their development throughout their entire life cycle as an employee on their campus. And so as John is in his career hub, he can immediately see from the first tab his skills and why is this important. With the Workday, we have the skills cloud. That is our delivered ontology of skills over a 100,000 that you are able to attach to many different areas within Workday. We saw where Kate was generating a job description using AI. But also, with Workday Skills Cloud, we're able to pull those different skills from that job description, and you can suggest, you can recommend, and you can match those particular skills to every stage of your employee's life cycle, including career development as you see on the screen. And so as an employee of John, what he can do and interact with with the Workday Skills Cloud, he is able to go through an inventory or a questionnaire in regards to his skills. He can see the skills that have been captured from recruitment all the way until now. He is able to see those suggested skills with delivered AI of what he could add based upon his job that he's currently in, learning courses, or even some goals in his performance evaluation that has been entered into Workday. He also has the ability to set his current career focus. And so John is able to do more than just grow in his role and grow beyond his role. He wants to do both, and so he's able to set that designation in his inventory. He also has the ability to see those roles, that he may be interested in exploring. And so he can select some particular job interest like a campus police sergeant because he may want to grow or maybe a compliance officer. But as he continues to go through this inventory, this is just gathering data. And with Workday, you have that consistent data flow throughout every stage and life cycle of your employee and where they are. And so Workday is able to use this information and is able to suggest, recommend, and match different, action items that you can do within the system to assist with your career development. And that is our Workday AI or Illuminate at Work. And so now that John has completed that particular inventory, he can see some job openings that are based on his current job skills. And so this is AI saying, hey. We see some of the skills that you identified. Maybe you may wanna consider applying for these roles. So not only does Workday help with career development, it helps with internal mobility as well. We can also see that Workday AI is assisting with networking and connecting with the coworker. And so based upon those skills that you may share, you can take some next steps to assist with collaborative, efforts and relationship building. And so John is able to view Carmen Harris, learn more about some of those skills that she has, and request her as a mentor because they are similar. And so he is able to denote that mentor type. He also has the ability to have that start date, and he could just send a note. Let's chat about mentoring. And so now she has more information in regards to his career development request. And some other things that Workday AI allows for you to do is see some suggestions in regards to learning. Yes. You can also assist your employees with career development and learning for reskilling, upskilling, and compliance matters, and he is able to save that to his plan so he can resurface it at a later date. Now that John has done a couple of items and he has saved a couple of things that he wants to do in regards to his career development, he is able to go back and look at his plan. And we wanna ensure that your employees have a place in which they can reference to in regards to to dos, pending, and completed actions. But AI is not done with them yet. He can also see that there is a suggested development item, and he can generate it with AI With one click, because in Workday, if it's blue, it's for you. He is able to look at this development item to work on his professional presentation and how was this garnered from his skills, from his job profile, from his goals, and any other career related items that he has within Workday. He has the ability to look at that development item, and, also, he can modify with AI. We want our employees to have a tool or vehicle for them to, be able to use AI to help them with their daily work. And so he can either make this particular development item more challenging. But, John, he wants to work smarter and not harder, so he's gonna make it easier. And so Workday is going to now restructure his development item to give it, to be more easier in how it can be obtained. He can set the status, and we're gonna say it's in progress. He can start it on today, and then he can confirm that this will be added to his career development. So what you have been able to see here when we're thinking of our employees, you can empower your employees to not only be able to use AI to garner the information that they need immediately, but they can also use AI in regards to their career development, in regards to internal mobility, mentorship, development items, and growth within your institution. Now the very last thing that I want to show you in regards to AI is in regards to our managers because, hey, we don't wanna leave our managers out of the AI fund. We want to ensure that they have what they need for those management tasks to ensure that their employees are on the right track, within the university. And so I've logged in as Carrie Martinez, who is a manager of one of our supervisory organizations. And what we heard from our customers is that our managers need a single place for them to be able to handle all of those management tasks from time tracking, from budgeting, from performance, and more so. And so we heard you loud and clear. And so what we have enabled is the manager insight hub. This allows for you to stay on top of all of those necessary items and areas for your particular employees that report to you. And so as Carrie Martinez, with her role as being a manager, she can navigate to her performance tab and see the performance overview. So not only are your employees in charge of their performance related tasks, but your managers can have some insight. They can also be walking on that employee life cycle journey when they are working with their employees and their particular goals. And so Carrie is able to see the latest career activity, and we can scroll down to John So to. We can see the development item that was created a few moments ago, but we can also dive in deeper to open that page. And so this allows for our manager to have the visibility and the transparency in regards to career development within Workday. Carrie Martinez is able to view those same skills that John, has obtained from recruitment all throughout his life cycle as an employee. But guess what? She can take it a step further. Our managers wanna be able to have those meaningful conversations outside of performance evaluations and feedback. And so with Workday, we are some suggesting some actions for support. And so our manager, Carrie Martinez, has the ability to generate talent highlights. And so when we generate talent highlights, we are utilizing Workday AI to pull in details from your job, your performance reviews, from your goals, and your feedback, and providing you with an outline of suggestions on having those meaningful conversations with your employees that are happening all throughout the year and not just at the performance evaluations. So as you've just seen on the screen, we pulled in from our data sources, and we have provided using AI some talking points for strength and opportunities of growth for our employees. Not only are we using AI to provide you with those suggestions, but you do have the ability to go in and add some more. And so John is cool. Great employee. So you have that flexibility to review and to add. But last but certainly not least, you do have to acknowledge and attest that you have reviewed the talent highlights that were generated by Workday AI for accuracy. And so Carrie Martinez is good to go. She is able to save it to John's profile. And the next time that she has a conversation in regards to his career growth and development, she is able to go back to this talent highlights and have this conversation in regards to his strengths and opportunities throughout the life cycle of his tenure as an employee. And so with that, what you're able to see with Workday in regards for our managers is that you're empowering them to be a part of the conversation with career development and using AI to ensure that these conversations are meaningful and right on time for every stage of your employee's life cycle. So I know that we've seen a lot from Kate in regards to using Workday and generating AI, job descriptions and also being able to resurface creations of articles and assisting with career development and talent highlights for our managers. But what I want you to remember from this demonstration is that the most used AI capabilities of our higher education customers stream from what you've just seen. So from a skilled cloud ontology, expenses, utilize the receipt scanning with finance, suggested skills for worker profiles, the workday assistant, learning recommendations after you've garnered that information from the skills, career hub, and even the supplier invoice automation and scanning. These are 80 plus delivered Illuminate features in production right now that you can use today to ensure that you're providing efficiency for all of your administrators, your employees, your managers, your faculty, and staff, but also empowerment so that they'll be able to take care of what matters most at any given time or day in their daily work journey. And with that being said, I am gonna now hand it back to Kate so that she can continue with today's conversation. Right. Thank you so much, Anicia. That was so exciting and fun. So many amazing features that can, again, help you do your daily work. So I'm excited to continue the conversation with you here, and I'm gonna go ahead and reshare my screen. So if, you can just share with me, Anicia, when you're able to see the building with responsibility and trust slide, that would be fantastic. Wonderful. Alright. Well, again, Illuminate is exciting. AI is exciting. It's really incredibly exciting to think about how we can get our work done faster, how we can have more time to do strategic work. But we wouldn't it wouldn't be an AI conversation at Workday if we didn't talk about responsibility and trust because it is extremely important to us, to build AI responsibly and make sure that you understand how we're doing that. So we have a truly human centric approach to AI development, and it's designed to help you innovate safely, and it's built on three key principles. So first and foremost, we want to make sure that you're able to make better decisions. So our AI is trained on high quality data, a lot of it, and transparent processes. So that's gonna help you lead to more informed outcomes. Every single feature that we have is documented on Workday community. So you can go out to community, search up, AI fact sheets or Workday AI fact sheets, and it will detail, everything you need to know about that particular feature from how the model was trained, to how you can contribute data. Also reduce risks. So we proactively address critical concerns like bias, data privacy, and security to minimize your risk. In fact, we have a risk framework that we can share with you in a trust session to walk you through exactly how we do that with each feature. Also, we take our data privacy extremely seriously. So one of the most common questions that I am asked is, is my data used to train third party public models? And the answer to that is a 100% no. You have full control over your AI features and your data contribution. So even if you're starting out, as a new Workday customer, nothing comes just turned on in your tenant. You would go in and you would turn everything on, and you would choose if you want to contribute data. Our commitment is backed by our security certification, so we have an ISO four two zero zero one, which is the global standard for AI security. And we also actively contribute to global AI policy development, so we align the leading frameworks like the NISC, AI risk management framework, among others. And so this holistic approach means that our AI isn't just powerful. It's not just helping you in your everyday. It's giving you the peace of mind to know that you're innovating with confidence and integrity. So let's talk about what's ahead. So again, not I'm gonna I might say safe harbor 57 times here or I might just give a blanket statement again that everything that you are about to see is future looking. So just know that when you were going through, this part of the session here. And I did see a question about the trust session and that does not cost money. We can absolutely, you can work with your aide to schedule a trust session where we can go through all of our, security privacy principles in more detail. Okay. So let's talk with future. Now we know higher education staff, faculty, administration, everybody's core mission is to deliver the best experience for our students. Every university I talk to, your students are your customers. So when we think about how we do that most effectively, we think about collaborating with your teams, with providing a more elevated experience for them when they're using their software. And so the center of our agentic strategy when we're talking about agentic AI is people. Workday is always going to be people first. So in our minds, the future equals human plus machine collaboration. We think about AI agents like digital employees. So we're not micromanaging simple agents. We're not swapping people with AI. We're thinking about how agents can augment and scale human impact, and that's how we design, agentic AI at Workday. As I mentioned, we just celebrated our birthday, which is really exciting, and we had a fantastic time at a big party called Workday Rising. And at Rising, we talked about agents that are available now. We talked about what is coming and what is up ahead. So you can see that we have a lot on the road map, but we do have some agents that are available now, with our talent mobility agent, contract intelligence, and contract negotiation. So I'm gonna go through those here in just a second. But you'll notice that we are extremely focused on providing agents for you, in the next year or two or more, that are really, really designed to be somewhat we're hearing you say and what you need in terms of that, assistant experience with with within Workday. So we have our agent system of record, which, I'll be talking about that's, upcoming, and that will be live in twenty six r one, and then we have many agents in early adopter phases. And if you're interested in the early adopter program, again, you can go out to community, search early adopter, and see what programs are available for you to join. So I'll start with what agents are available now. So first and foremost, this one has been a hit with our higher education community, and this is our contract intelligence agent. So within our contract intelligence agent, this is designed to help you manage all of these contracts that you're dealing with across your institution. It has advanced OCR and AI processing, so it can ingest and analyze contracts at scale from virtually any source or format. So quickly, it can turn documents into structured data points. It allows you to ask AI across all contracts. You can ask anything about your agreements in simple natural language to get clear, reasoned answers that are linked directly to terms in the source documents. You also have the ability to build custom AI models. So really thinking about future proofing that AI investment with easy self-service model creation to automatically track every term of interest to your institution even as your needs change over time. And then you also have customized dashboards, so you can really see what matters with interactive and shareable and easily configurable dashboards for different personas and use cases across your legal and business teams. I mentioned responsible AI. That's always a part of the process. So we have our ISO four two zero zero one certified responsible AI built into the program. This is one of the first and few AI management systems in the world to achieve that accredited certification. We also have our contract negotiation agent. So So when you're thinking about negotiating those contracts, this is gonna provide you with ask AI to review. So it does that spot risk in pre signature contracts just by asking questions, and sharing saved questions among teams for consistent automated analysis. Does that automated redlining, so it allows you to receive AI generated surgical edits to your contract language to make clause compliant with your playbook, with minimal negotiations. Also, as a clause creator, so you can automatically draft new contract language as needed to enhance templates and fill gaps. And then you've also got this AI powered workflows throughout. So it's gonna automatically route contracts for approval based on AI powered extractions and generated metadata fields. Next step, and what's very exciting, for our student community is our student administration agent. And so this will have a number of capabilities to support administrative staff. So this is in the development process, and I have a short video that I will show you to kind of walk through how this agent is working. I wanna make sure that you are able to see that video. So when you say, can you just give me a thumbs up if you're okay. Perfect. Okay. So in this transcript processor, you have a transcript work area. So in this case, we're logged in as Brian, and he can see the transcripts that have been, automatically processed as well as transcripts that have been flagged for attention. And so it's going to proactively explain that this transcript has been flagged, and this hold was applied because of a nursing program admissions policy. And then it will allow the agent will kind of walk you through how you can resolve it. So it's gonna say, hey. You need to notify the student, and it'll say, great. Got it. I'll notify the student right away so they can provide their transcript as soon as possible. And then here's our transfer credit assist agent. So let's open that one up. Okay. So in this one, we've got our assigned student transfer credit that is available. And again, you have ask Workday, which you can see follows you throughout the entire program, to help you along the way. So it's going to say, hey. You know, why were these courses suggested to me? And it'll give you some information about the suggested courses, why they were recommended. You can, again, move forward from there and assign that student transfer credit. So it's working with you to help the process of assigning transfer credit and make that process a lot easier for your administrators. Okay. Let's also talk about business process optimized agent. So for my IT folks in the house, this agent gives admins visibility into inefficiencies in their business processes. So often customers work with partners to implement, their business processes as a deployment phase, and then after the partners leave, they're kinda limited in skills to keep optimizing those business processes as the business evolves. So our business process optimize agent helps our customers continue to evolve and improve their business processes with a fraction of effort, involved. So we're hearing from our customers who are using third party solutions for process mining that it can take a really long time. So two weeks of heavy lifting to get a result in a single business process, and that doesn't scale. So a lot of our customers have 250 unique business processes on average. So the time, effort, and cost and deep technical expertise required to analyze and optimize those business processes puts optimization out of reach for a lot of our customers. So the business process optimized agent was a no brainer for us because, a, we have the largest, cleanest, and broadest business process dataset on the planet in a single unified HR and financial platform. So, we have, I think, 35,000,000,000, business process transactions across industry, which is quite a lot. And the cool thing about this is that we will be able to generate business process benchmarking data within the Workday metadata, by customer groups, so by industry, geography, company size, and we can recommend configuration optimizations coming from the administration guide, which a lot of other solutions can't do. And then, also, we have that conversational interface, to kind of interrogate the insights that you're receiving. So we've got 12 customers in our EA program for the business process optimized agent, and we're enabling it in their production tenant. We're walking them through it with their own data, and we're seeing a lot of great great results. So I wanted to show you quickly how this works. When you land on the thank you, Anisia. Business process dashboard, it serves as recommendations for which processes you should update. So it shows you where the process scores in comparison to the benchmark. But if an admin wanted to improve, let's say, the change job business process after hearing complaints about how long it's taking, the agent's going to return the results for all relevant business processes for change job. And so they can kinda double click for a more detailed view, which is which steps of the business process are driving the inefficiencies. It will recommend configuration changes that will have the most impact. And then in the future, with a simple request to the agent, those configuration changes can be applied. So, again, that's forward looking, but that is something that's very exciting in the future, and the, industry can even ask for a follow-up with the agent, to report on the impact after a couple weeks of being live. So this is really a platform, agent, and it's really designed to not just bring insights, but productivity across the business. It's a CIO favorite. And then employees experience benefits from this one too because they're spending a lot more time on processes a lot less time, I should say, on processes and more time in their actual work. Okay. For my finance folks in the house, and I saw a question. Are we gonna talk about finance? And, yes, we are. I know. We gotta show some love to our finance folks. So we have our financial audit agent, and so this is really designed to work in that risk and compliance space. And it's designed to analyze that financial data, gather evidence, and really think about how, we give you back some time because reporting is considered one of the most time consuming aspects of an audit. So in an early survey that we did, that indicated that accountants were spending 25 or more hours analyzing financial data in a week. So that is a lot of time in a week if you think about a forty hour work week. And so we really wanted to help solve that challenge and save those thousands of hours for those teams. We also got some feedback from some surveys that we did that 60% of that time was during peak hours. And so this work is typically done at the top of their day, and that's causing employees to work longer hours, have more manual work, it's prone to error. So we wanted to fix that, and we're doing that with our, agent here. So we started with the discovery stage with this agent with some key customers, in our EA program, and we've had some great results so far. So we're planning on commencing the EA program at the end of the year and really excited about bringing this, agents to light. So, I'll just kinda give you a brief overview here of what this is going to look like. But when a controller lands in the audit hub, this is where they can oversee the progress of the financial audit agent is making in response to audit requests. So an audit request came in from an auditor, via spreadsheet in email, and it's translated to individual requests here. And then what happens is it assigns responsible reviewers for different components of the audit. So it's going to allow you to see the progress that the agent is making in response to this audit request, and the agent gathers documents and reports, and it maps them to the request, and allows you to update the status, and it notifies the accountant, in this case, to verify the details. And then once that review is complete, you confirm the readiness of the response and approve the submission back to the audio auditor. So it's kind of walking you through that process here, and now you can see we're gonna push that back to the auditor, and then you go back to your overview, which is gonna show you all of your audit requests. So very exciting when we think about how we automate that process of information that's coming in, to the auditors and how they actually have that approval and taking a lot of the manual work along the way out of that process. Okay. Moving right along to our agent system of record. This is something we are so excited about because you're probably thinking as we go through this, wow. Okay. I've got the financial audit agent, and I've got this talent agent, and I've got my contracts agent, and I've got all of these different agents. I'm probably building some of my own agents as well. Where are we gonna manage all these digital employees? Right? And so we talked about this in the beginning. We think about these agents like digital employees. So we think about them just like our human counterparts. They should even be right on the org chart, and we'll that is upcoming. So that is a a new fun feature up ahead. But, you know, you have to think about them like human employees because you need to onboard them. You need to off board them. You need to manage what they're doing. You need to follow their activity, make sure they're doing a good job. And so we are building a bidirectional ecosystem where agents work seamlessly across platforms. So that's gonna give you the total flexibility to innovate with complete confidence in your governance. So just as an example, the way the agent system of record works, and I'll I'll show you a a quick demo here as well. But it allows you to, let's just say for a simple example, the manager was approving a compensation change that was recommended by the Workday talent agent. They could do that directly within Microsoft Teams because we're managing those agents within the same place. So the agent system of record is really designed to give you one platform to manage your entire digital workforce, and this strategy gives you the freedom to use the best agent for any task with centralized security and trust that only Workday can provide. So let's take a look at how this agent works. Actually, I think I'm going to this is one of those tricky places where I think I'm gonna have to change my screen. So give me just a second here. Yeah. Okay. May I have something you can see my screen, Anisia? Excellent. Alright. So we'll get this going. And let's see. There we go. So you can see in this agent registry, the first piece of the puzzle is where we're going in and we're configuring skills on the agent. So this is going to allow us to turn that agent on, select security groups for that agent. This is available in this particular agent. It's available to recruiters and managers. Also choose to, select another skill. So for my interview skill, I can do the same thing. So I can actually define the security by skill. And you'll notice that my agent is still inactive. So I'm gonna go in and I'm actually gonna turn that agent on and activate that agent. And it's gonna give me a warning here as well. So it's gonna say, hey. Activating this agent is gonna make it available for your end users. Are you ready to do that? And I can say yes, and it will activate that agent. So when I go back over to my overview tab, the cool thing here is this is getting analytics on my agent. So So it's not only get showing me how my agents are working, but it's also show showing me my most used agents, my active agents, and even opportunities for agents that I might not have turned on. But based on my usage in the tenant, what agents I might want to turn on. And so in this case, it it suggested that I enable that talent mobility agent. You'll notice, as I talked about earlier, these we think of these just like human employees. So we put a space for them on the org chart. And So you'll notice that I have, under talent acquisition, the talent acquisition agents that are working for me. So very exciting, thinking about that agent system of record and, again, really thinking about how, we consider the management of our agents within our organization. K. Let me get back to my tech here. Can you see it? Okay. Here we go. Okay. So to wrap us up, just wanted to kinda give a a summary of everything that we have talked about today. Human AI collaboration is really helping manage the complexity of work. So it is the future of work. It's not a distant vision. At Workday, we've been doing AI for ten years. So for us, it's it's something that's very common within the Workday organization. A lot of the things that we showed in the first half of this webinar are available now. So we have over 85 features that are generally available in the product, for you to use right away. And in terms of our agentic future, Workday is very uniquely positioned to manage this new era of intelligent work. So for over a decade, we have strategically invested in AI. We have deeply embedded AI into our HR finance applications. So we've been anticipating the shift from traditional business processes to more AI powered solutions. And to date, we've delivered on those capabilities. So as I mentioned, we have over 85 features delivering value to 72% of our customers that are using them, and this approach ensures that every single customer has the opportunity to experience AI and experience how it acts as an intuitive, always available partner that's inherently woven into Workday. So users expected as a common resource within their modern work environment. One of the funny things when I talk to users and I'm going through a lot of these AI briefings and I show them things that are Workday Illuminate, they'll say, I didn't even know that was Workday Illuminate. So it is so embedded and working for you every day that sometimes you don't even know it's happening. And so, really, we think about Workday Illuminate as something that we want to move our customers forward into, and allow you to take advantage of AI because that's built directly into our platform and it's working for you every day. So I will close with that. Anicia, anything you would like to share before we wrap, my friend? Okay. Alright. Well, that is all we have for you. We will take any questions that you have from here, so feel free to keep, posting those questions in the chat, and then AC and I will do our very best to answer in our last couple of minutes. Hi, Mohammed. I see your question. Can we get a recording of this session? So good news for you today. This session is being recorded, and a link will be generated post the event. So please stay tuned so that you can have access to this wonderful information that you received today about Workday Illuminate. You're welcome. And the pen, Jane, my apologies if I mispronounce your name. Is it possible to get access to the demo video of audit agents? Kate, I am gonna hand that off to you. It is it is not. Yeah. So we don't get that out, but the the webinar is recorded. So I guess, technically, if you look at the webinar recording, you will have access to the demo, but we don't actually just share the, the video itself. K. And Lucas has a question. Can universities or organizations share successful agents within the platform, or will there be a method to do that? Oh, gosh. That is a really good question. So in terms of agent sharing and there's a couple of things that we didn't go through in regards to agents just because it's such a big topic and there's so much to talk about. So currently, the only the only way we have to utilize kind of shared agents or agents that are built by our certified partners that are available on Workday marketplace. So I will post that link in the q and a here, just so you can go out and see search and see what's available, on marketplace. And that is kind of how we're sharing agents today. Let me just post that real quick. But, again, all of those partners are certified partners. There's a process to go through, to become a certified partner to make sure that the agents that are being shared, follow the same protocol that we have at Workday. Like extend apps, I know that within our developer community, some of our customers share extend apps, and they share the code for those apps. We just acquired a company called Flowwise, and that company allows you to build your own agents, which is very, very cool. And so in the future, maybe that will be a possibility. It's not anything that we we have, set up to do today in terms of sharing agents across universities, but I I definitely know that that, our customers have gotten around that in the developer site, with extend apps. So, could be possible in the future. Okay. And then we have one minute left. Terry Simmons has a question. Are there plans for an admissions assistant agent, more contacts, joint transcripts, application, demographic data, etcetera, to build a suggested degree plan? Yeah. I you know, I'd have to take a look at some of the, upcoming agents that are that are coming out. So we have that student administration agent, academic requirements agent on the student side. So we can certainly follow-up with some more detailed information, around the agents that that are that are going to be available in twenty six r two on the student side. Yeah. So so at this point, I I think it probably probably would be best, if you connect in with your account executive and we could have a student specific section, session with you around what's coming up for students. Neli, I see your question around how can I find out which agents I have access to? Most most customers don't have access to any agents right now. So that is something you have to work with your account executive on, because most of our agents are, still in EA. Any agents outside of EA or you can look at the marketplace to see what agents are available, and then you can connect with your account executive on how to get those agents up and running within your institution. The 80 plus apps that are listed on are they listed on community? Yes. There are fact sheets for all of those apps on community. So if you search AI fact sheets, you can see all of the, features, that are available today. We can also and I'll share this with everyone who's a customer. We can do a dedicated AI session for your institution specifically. So if there are specific quest requests you have, you wanna know what you're using today, how you're using it, please reach out to your account executive, but we can certainly schedule a, more of a deep dive session that's catered around your institution specifically and what you'd like to see. Alright. I think we're one minute over in ACS, so I think we have to have to, cut off here. But thank you guys so much for all of your wonderful questions for joining us today, and, we'll look forward to hopefully speaking with you in the future. Alright. Have a great work day, y'all.
